heres the problem with mayweathers announcement:

1) he already has a date set!

and

2) he already has a venue set!

mayweather is already sabotaging possible negotiations with pacman. date and venue are both important part of negotiations. mayweather can do that to any other fighter but not to pacquiao because of his status (the same way pacquiao cannot dictate to mayweather the time and place). think about it.. what if pacman announces after the marquez fight that he wants to fight on may 6 and he wants it to be at dallas stadium? you guys think that mayweather will just say "oh ok.. whatever you want manny"

 

Does it matter? This fight is pretty much guaranteed to be at the MGM anyway. But it's not like its all set in stone. Things can change. Ain't no contracts been signed that Floyd must fight at MGM on May 5. Relax.

 

Ever Heard of Site Fees?It is what a venue pays a Promoter to bring the event to there venue. Think there might be a bidding war? I guess if you are a moron like Jr you think this is the way to get most money from a venue. This is just more BS.
