KONCZ : We Offered Floyd 60/40 to the WINNER

Here is the thing you fail to realize. Both fighters can't make the same amount. If both fighters take home a combined 100 million including PPV then who gets the 60 and who gets the 40? Floyd is going to get 50 million off the Cotto fight. If he got 60 million then that is just a few million off his biggest Payday thus far. If Manny gets 40 million then that damn near doubles his highest.

Based off both guys income per fight Floyd would be taking a pay cut and Manny will be getting a raise.

 

Why did Arum refuse to make Oscar vs Floyd? If you know the answer to that then you know he would never do a 60/40 split to the winner.

Why is everyone so hung up on the amount of ten's of millions these already multi millionaires can make in one fight? It really won't change anything in their lives financially. pac was guaranteed $22M for marquez and could ahve earned as much as $30M or more after the PPV revenue and other revenues. how is $40M double his highest?

I really don't care. We are on a boxing site and I am explaining to these *****tards that we as fans are looking at this split from an emotional standpoint bc we don't get a cut of it. An easy solution could also be Manny taking 40 million which is damn near double his highest purse. See Koncz and Manny should have never said no to Floyd or 50/50 no fight. They should have said we will get back to you. Got on the phone with Arum and told his ass to go into negotiations bc Floyd is not the one who negotiates and neither are they.

Proper negotiations never took place and that is on Arum and Manny. If proper negotiations has taking place then the money could have been worked out for everyone involved.

 

If anyone believes Floyd is dumb enough to face Manny for a winner gets all, when there's been a **** ton of corrupt decisions lately, you're a fool. End of. It will NEVER happen as a 60/40 or ANY split for the winner being bigger. Boxing is far too corrupt. Quit bringing this **** up.

Floyd making 50-55 million with Cotto...Pacquiao makes a max of 22.5 with his ppv profits....Floyd was just guarantee'd 32 million..Not a fair deal for Floyd...Floyd makes that anyways while Pac does not come anywhere close to 40 million or 60 million without Floyd.

Floyd is breaking the purse record w/out Manny. He will be the highest paid fighter for a single fight without Manny Pacquiao. Pacquiao is getting 7.5 million for Bradley...

LMFAO 60/40 TO THE WINNER IS PATHETIC. This is business and Floyd would take a paycut if he lost, or make only slightly more than his already career high payday if he won, while Manny would almost triple his career high payday if he won, or almost double his career high payday if he lost...very unfair deal. They should offer 60 to Floyd and 40 to Manny.

Note-This is all assuming they split 100 million...Mayweather and Oscar split 79 million off of 2.4 million buys. Pac-May would probably do 2.8-3.1.
