This is actually a really good fight & contrast of styles.... Benavidez will stalk and Plant will potshot and run, winning the first 5 rounds while landing some nice counters... Benavidez will show no respect for Plant's power, Plant will tire out in the middle rounds as his is custom, and he'll either hold on for dear life aiming for a close decision or get stopped in the 11th or 12th.

If Plant RUN runs, he has a chance though, as he's significantly faster... However, his endurance is suspect.

 

Is Benavidez back on the disco dust? I hope he sorts things out and makes weight this time. He’s a big SMW and can fight. I’d like to see him fight Canelo and see plant fight BJS, or Canelo fight BJS and David fight Plant. Just do in 2021, versus talking about it for two years. Any combination of these guys would be good. Can Bivol make 168? He says he can. That would make it even more fun.

 

Anyone can look good on pads, its how you look im the ring that matters.. Hes unorthodox and i think it has alot to do with his lankiness. His brother Jose has better technique.
