    I think it is because people assumed he could win and beat a great fighter with or without the one which was mixed.

    Short answer; the internet. Back then Pryor was under a bit of a microscope and people were suspicious of him and his "braintrust " but those were the days when the press wrote about things......now, any goof with a keyboard is a pundit, so these things are now done to death and beyond.

    Margarito simply had the misfortune of being born into an era where it's more difficult to be a pr/ck.

    Not to mention there's the fact that it's worse to put plaster in your gloves than it is to take an energy booster. Although both are **** things to do

    Both are bad. Pryors was a shot of energy whereas Margaritos were lethal weapons and he seemed to have no remorse.

    By you. That's invalid. And by the logic of its not proven neither is Pryor's bottle scandal, so the point of them being lethal weapons still stands

    LOL I'm a hypocrite because I know a friend of mine was innocent of what he was accused ?? Do any of you know Tony ?? NO well I do OK When you grow up a bit you'll learn not to just follow the pack but investigate the facts
