Kongo and Mir ufc 107??

Cool. I like seeing fighters lose and come back. UFC gets rid of too many guys me thinks.

 

Pretty easy win for Mir I think.

I don't know about that. How good are Mir's takedowns? I honestly don't recall. If Kongo keeps this standing, Mir could be in for a hard night. Outstriking an old nog is one thing.

I would like to see the fight, hoping they have a little more to offer on the card of course.

His takedowns are ok. He threw Wes Sims around in both fights and made him his *****. He also took Antoni Hardonk down easliy and subbed him quick. A fat out of shape Mir in 2006 even took a big heavyweight in Dan Christianson down a few times. Kongo doesn't have takedown defense good enough to keep Mir from having his way with him:deal

 

Mir by submission..all he has to do is take kongo to the ground and it's over.

I think if Mir can grab Kongo AT ALL he wins. If he can pull guard he can beat Kongo, I think.

Easy fight for Mir. I still think Mir is the best heavyweight other than Brock. Maybe he would have similar trouble with Carwin that he had with Brock, but I think he beats everyone else.
