Would this be a good match? Kongo is strong and beat Cro Cop pretty easy....

Kongo has no ground game. So no, it wouldn't even be close.

He's big, strong and a pretty good striker. But Fedor would close the gap, Sambo throw him, and then it'd be all over. Fedor has taken down bigger and stronger and better kick boxers.

He landed several shots in crocops balls. + he fought a past prime crocop. (Kongo is a nobody in the K1 circuit). That's like giving McBride props for beating Tyson.

As far as fed vs Kongo is concerned.
I'd say , it's the same as everyone else..Kongo , just like any other striker has a puncher's chance. So it's not impossible to beat Fedor but the problem is that you have to KO him in the 1rst round asap.

Thing is...It isn't muay thai nor boxing.
So odds are always on the solid judo/sambo artist.

Either Kongo lands a solid knee or punch in the first 10 or 30 seconds of the fight , or , he eventually gets taken down and instantly subbed.

Marrero took him down and made him look silly, Fedor would break a limb or choke him out

Ya, Fedor is way too complete for Kongo. This really would not be very competitive. I see an arm bar sub in the 1st rd.

Lets forget the fact that Kongo sucks for a second: he isn't even very strong. That little guy Marero man-handled him and dumped him on his back at will. He's got a big chest and arms, but no back and waist. I can see how the casual observer would look at his physique and think he was a beast though.

Man, you wouldn't believe the **** people hang on to that Dana White says. I'm handing out with friends of a friend and they all thought Fedor was not top5 and he sucked lol. Then they show collection of Pride Videos and say Noguera sucks! I was so shocked! I said, "Dude, Noguera is FRIGGIN UFC CHAMP? If he sucks than who's good?!!"
