I've heard That Ortiz got 300k on a couple of podcasts but there's no evidence available that I've seen.

why though, whats the point of doing that?
Why knock back millions of dollars? Fight AJ and go down like Liston v Ali 2, walk away healthy and make millions. Take a fight or two where they are popular and while they're still a name and pick up more $$$$.
Where is the upside in saying no?

Beats me, turning down that kind of money, life changing money for not only yourself but for your children, your children's future children etc. is utter lunacy. And if you win it pushes your future earning potential through the roof.

Kownacki has gone for legacy instead of money, Sugar Robert Helenius 3.0 is a much tougher fight than AJ.

That's why I think there's gotta be serious legal consequences for taking the fights. Maybe Haymon 'owns' them in a capacity that I can't comprehend. Maybe it's just stand over men and gangsters like in the 40's, 50's 60's. But it seriously hurts the sport. Say what ever you want about Canelo and GGG, those boys had the stones to get in there. Say what you like about their promoters and managers, they let them go to war.

 Kownacki's, like Ortiz's, head is magnet for right hands and I wouldn't be surprised if the shell of Helenius' shot ghost sparked him out with that big right hand of his.

Maybe but I have my suspicions regarding what that ''capacity you can't comprehend'' Gaymon owns them might be lol

It involves men dressed in women's clothing taking part in sordid activities after hours in Gaymon's dungeon

    Quite possibly . I honestly don't know .

All I know is the current tactical standing . Madison Square Garden , almost sold out , 4 belts and the opponent is a foreigner who has never fought on away soil and fighting after his longest period without a fight . And no one is calling it , he is chasing them , you got a Unified Champion calling out the ranks to fight him and no one is picking up .

Whether it's the boxers , the managers or their promoters or indeed all of them , someone's clearly scared of him . Everyone is running out of excuses and everyone is losing patience on this . Now when it comes to money , Hearn (as much as I hate promoters) is the only rat actually pulling off huge revenue in the HW's. PBC ain't pulling nothing yet claiming everything . FFS Miller's purse alone was more than double Ortiz V Wilder's entire fight . So money is clearly not the problem .

As a man from a neutral country, Australia, I have to tell you America, your fighters are looking like total pussies right now. Wilder, Ortiz and Konwacki, load of bull****. Laughable.

Kownacki has been only taking Right Hands so far from American level heavyweights, one Euro Level Right hand from Sugar Rob and he goes to sleep quicker than he would than after a bowl of Pierogi

Wilder took between $1.5 million some say upto $2.1 million . It fluctuates depending on sources .
Ortiz took $500k . No sources say otherwise .

Yet the fight with AJ in MSG , opponents purse alone is $5 million minimum (Hearn says there is more than that) .
