It's not about the money for Kownacki, the guy's a real fighting man and wants a proper opportunity to challenge for the world title. You can take the businessman approach like Dillian or the fighting man approach like Kownacki.

Both are training for fights in the U.S. Both are promoted by Matchroom. Both fight on DAZN. Both are in their primes. Both are respected by all the orgs.

They could sign that fight today.

But Hearn chooses not to.

 

Vitali was also training for a fight on the Lennox Lewis undercard.

Usyk is scheduled to fight Takam down the road in Maryland the Saturday before Joshua fights.

Honestly, that would be the easiest fight to make. But, instead, Hearn is considering pulling a guy Usyk beat off Usyk's undercard to fight Joshua (Hunter).

Let Mike Hunter fight Takam, and let Usyk fight Joshua.

Usyk is fighting Takam, the Usyk and Joshua fight NEEDS to be milked given their huge reputations and P4P status. That is not a last minute replacement, that is a beautiful business proposition that you exploit in the right time.
