Keep Hoon away from skilled boxers but you put him in there against brawlers like Molina and Omar, you'll see the best of him.

    Volcano!!!

    Actually Fig would devour Kim.

I don't know about that but it would be a good fight to make at this stage. Risky for Fig or Molina as it is a notoriously bad idea to trade blows with Kim.

Bad idea, unless you can take a punch (both Figueroa and Molina sure can) and pack more wallop than a Lenny Zappa (both do)

These kinds of smashers are exactly the sort that is all wrong for JHK, IMO. Light hitters susceptible to being dragged into trenches - like Rahimov and Amidu (ignore the padded KO record) - suit him best. Or anyone glass jawed.

    IntetionalButt, you are wrong..

Learn this game before talking that nonsense...

So you are using the Zappa fight to gauge a matchup between JI and Molina/Omar?

SMH.. anybody can get caught cold..

No, I'm not making a direct correlation. Yes, anyone can get caught cold and you can't base one match-up off another (with both points reinforced by the case of Ammeth Diaz getting bum-rushed by Kim, before going on to stop the same Lenny Zappa who bum-rushed Kim)

...and of course not much can be read into Molina's TKO1 loss to DeMarco, where he was just quickly overwhelmed.

However, Kim has a habit of blocking punches with his face. Against feather-fisted opposition this is fine.

Against someone who can punch a bit, it's hardly the best strategy. Zappavigna wasn't the first person to KO1 Diaz. There was almost a third person to do it (Ray Beltran).

Kim doesn't have the chin nor the power to compete with bangers who rely solely on chin & power (like Molina and Figueroa) - that was my original point.

Maybe you should learn more before you go starting debates you are ill-equipped to engender. :banana

None of them can box, really - Molina, Figueroa or Kim.

They're rock 'em sock 'em robots. The difference is JM and OF have the tools to go a bit further with that style. Kim doesn't hit as hard and can't take a punch as well as them.
