Korobov calls GGG a hypejob

While i agree maybe one or two guys like Quillin or a Strum may have ducked Gennandy, name me one thing Golovkin has ever done to land a big fight, name me one compromise he's ever been willing to make to try to facilitate a big matchup happening.
GGG doesn't get big fights because he is cheap and unwilling to compromise, even vs a bigger name.

I think he's trying to get himself back on the scene. This would have been a decent enough fight to take place in December whilst waiting for Jacobs in spring, so interesting that Korobov wants to speak up now

 

I don't know if he's chinny man, Lee his real hard. I don't remember seeing him wobbled elsewhere but I haven't seen every single fight of his

 

If these guys were serious about making a fight with Golovkin then I'd give them a lot more respect. It must be frustrating for Golovkin to hear these guys talk **** that he knows they have no intention of trying to back up.

Jacobs, Saunders, Korobov, Quillin, Eubank are all looking like an absolute shower of shite at the moment.

 

I actually think Korobov wants the fight, it's just that GGG is after Jacobs/BJS/Canelo instead. We nearly got this fight in April.

 

You should define "big fights".

-Loeffler said Golovkin was willing to fight Barker for free (or probabky just really cheaply) in the UK. They wanted none of it.
-The Chavez Jr. fight didn't happen because he didn't want to sign an extension to his Top Rank contract but wanted the money that went along with the extension.
-Froch made a poll about his next fight, Golovkin won. When Loeffler tried to negotiate the fight, Froch decided to retire because too big, too strong, despite earlier claims he made that he'd swerve Golovkin like the plague.
-Eubank Jr. They never refuted Eddie Hearns claim, so I will take it at face value that his father was an arrogant ***** sabotaging the fight.

What other big fight ? Cotto wanted none of it. Canelo? Here I would agree. Take the 10 millions and fight him. If you win, do a rematch if tou think you can get more out of it.

 

Why do you think it was ggg had to accept those fighters as opponents . fyi: those are the few fighters that did sign a contract. it's not easy getting opponents to sigo contracts , once they sign they HAVE to fight ggg to make ANY money.

You can't sign a contract and back out, that's why it's so difficult , signing means their next and only opponent is ggg, they can't not fight him IF they want any income.

 

Yes but lets be honest here, Ward had more chances to beat Golovkin than both Chavez and Froch, and he brings less money to the table. So the benefits of going up in weight to fight these guys was there (money wise and resume wise) and they were both clear PPV fights. Ward would also probably be a ppv fight, but that's only because HBO could never pay Ward and GGG's purses.

I believe, if anything the Kovalev vs Ward fight made clear, it's that it was wise not to make the fight. I think Ward is a borderline diva during negotiation who woukd want it his way, and I don't think Golovkin could win without a KO or at least 7 knockdowns... BTW it's a fight I want to see.

 

He should try to make his way back on top like Andy Lee or Hassan N'Dam are doing instead of running his mouth.

 

The same Barker who got destroyed by Martinez , went life and death with Geale , destroyed in two rounds by Sturm and had to retire at 32 due to a blown out hip?

Eubanks put out a tweet last month calling out Golovkin again. "No demands , no tricks, no bs , just GGG."

Team Golovkin have said that fight is of no interest to them after they beat Brook. That would indicate they never had any interest in fighting him.
Lara , Eubank , Ward , Kovalev , Groves , Degale-- All guys in their prime who Golovkin wants no part of.
