Quillin is chinnier than Lee who wanted NO PART of Korobovs L hand.

Quillins only weapon is his L hook, and vs Korobov, it would not land over the high L guard.

NTM, that straight L hand of Korobov would be nailing Quillin at will.

Only thing Quillin lost last night was 1.4 million bucks. Cuz had he taken the Korobov fight, he'd have lost his cherry, been flat out on his back, and been exposed.

Korobov, for all his lack of pro-mentality, took Utz's R hands and L hooks with little trouble. It was the unseen R hand of Lee from the SP stance that gave him his first pro L.

Glad Lee won it.....he's always been a game fighter. But Korobov would beat him 9/10 times, and Lee was fortunate to capture lightning in a bottle last night. :good

So even though he was soundly beaten , you're trying to argue Korobov is sill better:patsch

I listened to Adam Booth afterwards and the fight went exactly how they wanted it to go but they were surprised by how fast they they got it done.
In the real world Lee beats Korobov 9/10.
There is absolutely nothing to suggest otherwise.

I had the fight pretty close, fat dan was pretty biased... think I had it 49-48 in Korobovs favor when it was stopped. It was still any mans fight, I don't know why some are suggesting it was a one sided affair leading up to the stoppage.

I gave Lee the 3rd and the 6th. Having Korobov soundly ahead even had he taken the KD in the 6th.

Lee was timid but fought smart knowing he had only a punchers chance of winning.

I dont know how a case could be made for Lee winning more than 2 rds of the 6.

Which other rd did you give Lee. Cuz Korobov was landing the more meaningful punches throughout, including the 3rd but Lee did actually rock Koro with the R hook then too, which swung the rd his way on my card.

I believe the judges had it a shutout for Korobov going into the 6th. If I remember correctly. :think

Korobov was being rocked from the opening round. Lee was never in a moments trouble at any point.

He was very much in the fight till he ended the affair. Not even needing to go past the half way mark where Korobov supposedly tires.

Korobov was wooped. End of story

    :rofl:rofl:rofl

O wait......Korobov is not a Brit. But wait......Lee is an Irishman.

Just cause Booth trains Lee and he formerly trained the man who's semen you ingest daily, doesnt necessarily mean you have to be a Lee fan you know.

You can actually hate on Korobov without having to like Lee. :huh

I absolutely love it that Lee won, Korobov is a bore and I'm glad he lost, but he would still beat Quillin.

Would you go as far as to say Korobov won the "event"?

Im glad Lee won as well.

Korobov is NOT an exciting fighter, whereas Lee is a thrill a minute and always brings excitement knowing he might be KOd at moments notice.

He also wears his heart on his sleeve and goes for broke when he's down in fights. Heart fo a champion right there.

But when push comes to shove, that's all this does is give Alvarez an easier shot at a MW title that he can hide from GGG while not having to pay Cotto for the bigger fight.:think

I thought Korobov would win but I've honestly always felt he was getting ridiculously over hyped and brought quite literally nothing good whatsoever to the table. There is nothing you can particularly point to that he does great. Nothing.

Congrats to Lee though. He's a fighter alright.

No lightning in a bottle mate, he stunned him in the third aswel and should of jumped on him then, Lee beats Korobov anytime, he couldnt take his right hook and never will be able to take it, end of.

Lee wouldn't be a push over for Alvarez. That'd be a great fight.

Korobov fought lower tier opposition for too long.
We'll probably see the same thing happen to Wilder.
