What's the one w/ Mercer winding up like he's at the batting cage & swinging for the fences on a guy who was in a similar position as Morrison. While hilarious, it shows Mercer is a sadist who likes kicking people when they're down.
I dont know if your talking about the same one I'm thinking of or not, but is it the one where he knocks the guy out of the ring? That knockout was funny as ****, when the guy fell out of the ring he landed on the ground pretty good, a guy out of nowhere put his head on his chest just to see if his heart was still beating, security had push the guy off him.:yep
Some fighters won't stop, but I have seen many times when a fighter waves the ref. in like they're saying, "Save this guy would ya!?" I think Holmes did that at least once.
I think the second frazier/foreman was even sadder having frazier giving it all that he got for the 2nd time and still came short. I agree though, frazier got so much hatred in his heart and needs to let it go. I think thats why he's not getting the respect he deserves cause people look at him now and after all these years and he's still angry.
Arguello against Pryor II Morales vs Pacquaio III Tyson vs Lewis Especially Arguello. It was one of those nights that you wished Arguello would stand up, come back to the fight and beat the hell out of Aaron with a lucky, solid punch that could have turned the tide in his favor. And Tyson. I hate to watch that fight. Tyson was useless and so helpless in that one. One fight I really don't want to see.
Dude...I hate to see fighters with legendary level blood and guts get knocked out. When Gomez knocked Gatti out, watching Gatti fall down was like slow motion to me. It was like a giant tree was slowly falling down and dying never to be seen again. When Pacquiao knocked out Morales in the 3rd fight and Morales just sat there winked to his corner and shook his head no. That was tough. When Hopkins drilled Trinidad with that counter right hand after a 12 round beating and he still got up and made the count barely but his dad throws in the towel. Those were very sad for me lol :|
Bruno against Lewis when Lewis had his left held in Franks face measurin for the right, Franks face was tragic, made me feel bad for the sport
I don't like seeing a warrior counted out when they are aware of it. When they reach that point in their careers and they can't carry on any more. They've probably been movitated for months, thinking they could have that last great performance but then reality hits like a ton of bricks. Examples being Arguello against Pryor, Morales against Pacquiao and Tyson against Williams. Sad.
It wont, though I am a huge fan of Peters, and my hate for Wlad would make it something I would have to see. The Lewis/Tyson fight was probably the most hyped fight I ever seen, everyone I know watched that fight, even my grandma.
I agree that Knockout of Jones by Glen Jonhnson was hard to digest and sent chills down my spine as I watched it. Not many knockouts are that brutal to begin with, let alone ones that include great fighters. Its one thing to go down and then be able to get up and walk back to your corner on your own; but when you fall and your head bounces like that, and you lay there out cold like a corpse, its pretty brutal and disturbing to watch.
i agree with most of the ko's mentioned here, arguello, morales, tyson, etc the one i can't agree with is hatton getting ko'ed though, that was one of my favorite ko's of all-time given the hype that preceded it
