    shuler over roldan? that's insane

    tate shouldnt even be there

Hearns was great but didnt have the longevity and only ranked a very short time as well as missing the full intensity of the division

whoever has the most number of wins over contenders and how good the contenders were and when they beat them

    that's how it's done

    Hagler first of course
    Hamsho
    Nunn
    Sibson
    Obel
    Hearns
    Roldan
    Davison
    Fletcher
    SRL
    Minter
    Kinchen

the only problem with Roldan is when did he win as far as title fights? I guess the same can be said for Shuler. Both beat Kinchen, but Shuler has more skill and we really don't know what he would have become. He switched southpaw to orthodox well. And he was tall with a long reach. Shuler had more potential. I think he beat Sugar Ray Seales. And old Sugar Ray.

Kalambay needs to be a lot higher. McCallum and Graham should be in there

McCallum had two fights there at the time of the list. A loss to Kalambay and a split decision win over Graham. Tate had very little too and you could maybe slip him in.

Kalambay is probably pretty right. Wins over Graham, McCallum and Barkley vs a loss to Kalule and a bad loss to Nunn. No wins over anyone on the list and a loss to someone not.

I can't work out how Leonard is on this one and not the 154lb one

I guess it's essentially a win over their #1 Hagler vs a win over their #5 Kalule. He certainly could have made the tail of 154 on that.

The list is a joke layered with KOs favorites. High school bull**** of popularity thruout boxing 1980-now

shuler had skill but Roldan had the edge in strength, power, defense, and stamina

and gave Hagler real problems. so much so that when Hagler went back to his corner at the end of round two, he looked like a man who forgot how to fight as he found Roldan nearly impossible to hit and Roldan found Marvin nearly impossible to miss

thankfully, Marv's left caused tremendous damage to Roldan's eye, once again bailing him out of a possible defeat (see the Colbert fight)

what would make me a believer is if Leonard had gone on to make a few defenses against top contenders such as Nunn in order to prove he hadnt caught Marvin at the end of his career

seeing as how poorly he fared against Norris, I would have to say Michel would have mopped the floor with leonard

that's why he chose the fight with Lalonde

and confirms my suspicions about him. everything just adds up!

Lot of gate keepers here. Especially Hamsho and Tony Sibson.
Bobby Cyz and Wilfred Benitez were battered like a rag doll by Hamsho.
Irish John Collins was annihilated by Tony Sibson.
Though i think they both did these 3 fighters a favour as a win would have been a title shot at Hagler.

I'd be tempted to throw in Michael Olajide or Michael Watson

McCallum would have done for better against Barkley and Starling than Nunn did.
