Any else notice these haters slagging off the KO now that they
peeps ain't gettin 'em but these russky's coming from out of
no where are not only getting the highlight reel finish, but
doing it with style. Now, they are crude and skill less. But,
didn't this same lineage worship Mike Tyson for getting them
'outta there'? But, now that it's another race of people getting
the KO, all of the sudden the KO is overrated, crude, skill-less.
What's with all the hate for the KO now?

The Klitschkos were on top by far. Knocking out almost everyone, but the extreme hate for Eastern European fighters is terrible in America, not other countries though. Klitschkos has dawn 65,000 fans live at ringside, Void can't do that...............

The terms 'robot' and "plodder" have increased as well.

I don't get it why people here still care about where the fighter comes from, what his skincolor is and so on.
I nowadays make fun of the boxers coming of the 'big' boxing countries just because a lot of their fans are so focused on nationality and race.
Maybe it's because there's no fighter on the horizon where I come from, but I can't remember me being so petty when there were some in the past. I followed them, but stopped caring about them once they started to act like divas or even became criminal.

It's one thing to root for your own, but another to dismiss everything you see in front of you just because the fighters are from another country and/or race.

People dont dismiss Wilders knock outs , they dismiss his level of competition and the legitimacy of certain knock outs. The trolls on here that big Wilder up so much is the reason he get so much hate and because his ridiculously over hyped for what he has done.

If Wilder's hype had not been blown out of all preportion he would have a lot more fans on here

How about my favorite: "yall jus in luv wit duh power":rofl

All of a sudden any fighter who can punch is just a face first brawler with no "skillz".

It is a very infantile code. Anything those fighters do even reasonably well suddenly becomes out of style. Such transparent agendas.

Fans of these Russian fighters are the worst when it comes to what u r describing. At least fans of fighters from the big boxing countries like ward, bradley, donaire, pbf have actually justified their place in boxing. Kovalev hasnt proven half of what those fighter have proven yet he gets a lot of hype. Once he fights elite fighters then fans won't dismiss him but seeing as how hes still relatively unproven its understandable some fans haven't jumped on the bandwagon. GGG gets hype from these same fans yet they consider him white but they consider ward black. I dont get it.

I guess you're missing the point.

When someone from the big countries is piling up KO victims, those guys get hyped up like mad by the same guys that dismiss European, Asian and South American fighters that do exactly the same.
Even when there's a clear distinction in the level of dominace they beat the same fighters or the same level fighters with they still favor their man to 'expose' the other fighter that's clearly doing a better job.

Of course the rock, paper, scissors thing is always in effect. Look at Bute who beat every common Super 6 contenders opponents easier and clearer as the contestants until he finally faced Froch.
    But the main topic remains.

We now get the "but they haven't faced any big names yet" call, because there's a clear trend going between those big names to avoid fighting those guys at all cost. Huge risk, mediocre reward is the main reason here.
So they can never really 'prove' themselves, because they can't get the fights with the big names who are hiding under their network's and alphabet orgs skirts.

Why was it allright that guys like Broner got hyped while he needed a couple of gifts already before he got beat up so clearly that not even the judges could save him? And why was it bad that a guy from Argentina got the same kinda hype being on the opposite side of some crooked judges scorecards?
Why is it a problem that Kovalev and Golovkin get hype when they completely dominate their opposition before the KO, and why is it ok for Fury to get hype while he struggled with multiple relatively light hitters and got knocked down heavily by a couple of them?

The only thing boxfans should look at is how they actually perform inside the ring. Not where they come from, what their eating habits are, what their skincolor is or whatever made up deity they do or don't believe in.
Then if they're not too obnoxious outside the ring too there's no reason not to like the boxer. For a nomal person that is.

There were lots of people questioning if Broner was the real deal. Does super hans ring a bell? There were several others who felt the same, especially non americans. Even his supporter were expressing concern after seeing some of the tapes that came out. There were some trolls who hyped up broner endlessly but I see more for GGG and Kovalev.

To Broner's credit, he did prove himself to be the best 135lber in the world. He destroyed Demarco who most people across the pond thought would beat him. Vasquez and Crawford had very thin resumes at the time and weren't considered top 135lbers yet. Burns flat out ducked Broner and that's when Broner decided to jump two weight classes to fight two quality fighters.

By comparison, GGG and Kovalev haven't fought anyone in the top 3 in their division. They would never move up several weight classes like Broner did after he established himself as the best in his division, something Kovalev and GGG have not even come close to doing. Despite that, Kovalev and GGG are being hyped up more than Broner was. I don't see anyone on the level of a Super Hans bring down either of those two like he did broner, so I fail to see your point.

i'm not a fan of broner either, I enjoyed watching him get humbled by maidana. i do respect him more now after taking his beating like a man. :deal
