Foster's ko of Quarry is a poster for devastating knockout, the mood around ringside went silent and tense after Quarry went down,, he fell like he'd been shot .
    P.S.
Add Fosters KO of Dick Tiger to the list, Bob Paralyzed him,,

Michael Spinks-Marvin Johnson. This was the latter day LHW Bob Foster-Mike Quarry.

Ron Lyle-Duane Bobick II in the amateurs, early 1971 on camera. Duane was out for five minutes. He was on his feet when he was stopped by Stevenson in Munich, Norton, Koetzee and John Tate.

Joe Louis-Jimmy Braddock. Others who had the toll of ten counted over them were at least trying to rise. The Cinderella Man did not move a muscle, and had to be brought upright while stiff, as if he was being lifted on a dolly.

Mike Weaver-John Tate. Big John had to be helped to the dressing room supported on the shoulders of his handlers. A shot of him later in his dressing room showed him still trying to shake off the cobwebs.

Leotis Martin-Sonny Liston. Floyd Patterson was never laid out like that.

Liston is up a little over a minute after he was put down, as befits an ancient fighter. Floyd didn't fight till he was 50.

And Leotis never fought again after what Sonny did to him.

I was at that fight. It felt like a minute or more that Szpilka was completely motionless on the canvas. I honestly wondered if he was dead.

Arguello was unconscious for 2-3 minutes after being stopped late by Pryor. That's a significant length of time.
