I think this would be a great fight,would be war! I would have to give Koscheck the edge due to ground game but they can both strike and i wouldnt underestimate Dan Hardy,hes a dangerous fighter
Koscheck. HArdys a strong dude, thick and powerful shots. But hes very inactive. I felt the Swick fight was very close. Koscheck will take him down at will.
I think Hardy CAN win if Kos chooses to stand with him too long and gets caught. Hardy has real power. If Kos fights a smart fight he wins via GnP. I don't want to sell Kos' standup short though, he MIGHT be able to win standing the whole time if he doesn't get antsy. He tends to throw a looping right though and Hardy has an amazing short left hook that could really punish him for that.
Koscheck would manhandle Hardy. Hardy is a solid fighter dont get me wrong but he isnt ready for someone on the level of a Josh Koscheck.
Hardy shouldn't be fighting for the title. They should make Hardy vs Koscheck. I think they know that if Kos beats Hardy then Kos v GSP might be a hardsell. Hardy is a new challenge at least.
Kos would win fairly easily. I don't think they'll make it, because they want Hardy in the title fight, because he's a new name and it's a British challenger, which will help promote the game over here. Kos would make Hardy look pretty average, which is what GSP will also do.
Hardy has a chance as long as he can keep it standing, where he will be able to outstrike Koscheck. But, I doubt he will be able to stop Koscheck's takedowns and will likely be layed on and pounded on for 3 rounds. However this fight won't get made. They've just about made a new contender for GSP (just) and they aren't going to risk him losing. Also they won't be able to sell or justify putting Koscheck in a title fight when he has already lost convincingly to GSP and has lost 2 of his last 5 or 6 fights. Everyone knows that Hardy is only there because there is no one else and he hasn't really earned his shot. Even the man himself knows it.
alot of videos popping up of these two hating on each other. they should definitely make this fight asap. them talking **** hypes the fight and both are in desperate need of an another good win to hype a gsp fight.
See Koscheck vs Lytle, add more blood. Koscheck throws him down, pushes him against the cage, and puts on a horror movie.
Add more blood but also add in more domination. Hardy isnt as skilled as Chris Lytle on the ground especiall off his back and if Koscheck wants to pass he will and make things even more violent before a submission. Koscheck at his best IMO is top 4 at Welterweight with GSP, Alves and Fitch. Respect to Hardy but hes borderline top 10 IMO he wont fair well vs Kos.
