3 rounds as Nate Vs Jim is the main event. How do we see it going? Both arefairly one dimensional on the feet but with their credentials it's likely to take place there IMO. Who takes it? Will it be Koshdicks right or Big Rigs left that does the most damage? Surely the winner will be in a good position to challenge the winner if Ellenberger-Condit, assuming Jake does what's expected and hammers Diego. EDIT: Belcher looks to prove himself truly back and still relevant in a very intriguing clash with the human leg muncher Rousimar Palhares!!! Looking a very good card IMO!!!
I think Hendricks will knock Kos out. Josh was eating far too many shots against Pierce and was wobbled on several occasions. Hendricks hits a lot harder than Pierce and although his striking is technically not great, I think he'll find Kos' chin at some point.
:huh This is one of the most relevant fights to make in the 170lb division! This card will also feature Nate-Jim, which, assuming Miller is way to proud to simply wrestle**** Diaz may well result in some quality grappling exchanged and some barbaric standup between two very game individuals, and Barry Vs some HW journeyman which is a guaranteed shootout. Definitely a fun card IMO, and Dana has pretty much said they'd be stupid to stick PPV draws on every card. I'm looking forward to it mate, looks a funcard, Miller Vs Diaz will be quality.
miller diaz is quality i agree i just thought they would be putting far more interesting fights on fox after dos santos v cain i thought it would of been similar fights of importance, koscheck hendricks is relevant in the division, but the division is weak
WTF have i missed here ??? :huh Condit Ellenberger , Sheilds Sanchez ........... :admin Anyway original point , i beleive if Koscheck wants to fight a tactical fight he can outstrike Hendricks without taking too many risks , and take a UD in a snooze fest , Hendricks will be stalking and looking to bomb Koscheck out , just like he does with every opponent , Koscheck in theory can negate Hendricks wrestling therefore he wont mind tangling up with him in the clinch or simply allowing Hendricks to bulldozer him , that really shouldnt be a problem for Koscheck , in summary Hendricks is a very flawed striker with excellent wrestling , Koscheck is a capable striker with excellent wrestling , i see Koscheck winning a UD here
Have to disagree here with both these statements This fight could be seen effectively as a title eliminator , as Hendricks just blasted Jon Fitch out :deal , if he beats Kos he's fighting for a title , simple as that , if Kos wins , he's instantly elevated to top contender status , or there abouts , which may not lead to a title shot , given GSP has shut him out twice , but it means higher purse's in bigger more significant fights 170 is unequivically NOT a week division :deal
how can you not agree with the fights of similar importance, cain v JDS hw title vs WW title eliminator, how can you not agree on that, fair enough if you think the WW division is not weak i can see that, for me its weak as it sucks **** and has a gay boy as champ
I can see Hendricks taking this one. Koscheck has been a little too easy to hit lately, and Hendricks has ridiculous ****ing power. A Koscheck UD wouldn't surprise me either though, to be honest.
Easy win for Josh. The only guys he's had trouble with is strikers with kod power. Johnny aint that, he aint out muscling Josh, will be a boring fight, but Kos takes this on a UD
Stoo - You obivously didn't see Jon Fitch's chin get shattered in 30 seconds last time out. Kos has been dropped and stopped by a left hook before - Hendricks can definatley do this and is more than a live underdog.
