    Saludar dropped Kosei in the 5th with a brutal temple shot but he got back up and persevered and stopped Saludar in the 6th with a body shot

    ...I think I've been Kosei's biggest cheerleader in the west...but that was...stupid of him. Yeah he got the win, he was in a fun fight etc...but he can't fight like that when he moves up. I'm hoping it was weight issues as opposed to anything...

    I think he's good and has a lot of talent, but thus far I've yet to be overwhelmed by him to be honest. But he is only 20 and has plenty of time to learn and perfect his craft, although his 0 won't last long fighting like that against better competition.

    Thing is...he doesn't USUALLY fight like that, he's usually a quick, on his toes type...he has shown the seek and destroy attitude (Omayao) but is at his best as a speed demon boxer...ah well a win's a win

    I know....but I prefer it when he fights that way, as detrimental as it may be to him.

    He's a talent but he switches off at times strangely and seems to get caught with shots he shouldn't, I've not seen this new fight though I'll have to check it out. PM me guys if you find anything.

    He was supposed to face WBA champ Ryouchi Taguchi in december, but in Tanaka's last fight he suffered two fractures to the eye and the fight has been postponed to 2018.
