Any chance of him coming back? What do you think his ceiling is?

He's a mental midget who folds the moment he tastes power, and resorts to every dirty tactic in the book, hoping the referee bails him out with a face saving disqualification. His ceiling is doing exactly what he did before he faced Ajagba, feasting on no hopers.

its such a pity because i thought he had legit top 10 potential. A southpaw with good power should always be a lock for the top 10. Yet the way he behaved in his last fight was beyond disgusting.

I thought he'd do better but when things weren't going his way against Ajagba he took the biggest opportunity of his career and DQd it away on national television. What promoter would want to give him a shot after that?

I can't believe that not so long ago I considered Kossobutskiy better than Kabayel, how wrong I was, he is not a fighter for big fights and it was seen in his last fight...

He can come back, one loss don't define anything for US/AUS/UK fighters, why should it be different from someone else ?

Based on the recent trajectory of the heavyweight division he’ll probably come back and KO Usyk and Fury then lose to Makhmudov

Sure, Zhang is an outlier who shows that anything is possible. Heck, I like Kossobutskiy and he has the talent to succeed, but I doubt it. Hes simply too old now. I think he is basically retired at this point.

I really won't be surprised, if Zhang KO's Usyk and loses to Chisora next

He doesn’t have the right temperament for boxing to put it kindly. Don’t think any promoters will give him a meaningful fight after his last stunt.

Probably realised his face doesn't fit and it jaded him.

Ajagba hit him with 21 low blows in just three rounds with zero point deductions, and yet Kossobutsky was the one who got DQ'd for 6 in retaliation.

Smh, it was essentially an organized smash and grab of an Eastern Bloc fighter's belt on an American card.

    https://www.boxingforum24.com/threads/hot-take-ajagba-v-kossobutsky-should-be-a-nc.709140/

edit: I should really call Zhan an Asian fighter, not European. Maybe Eastern Bloc is most accurate given the context
