    140 who wins??????

Marquez resume SHITS on Kostas, but Tyszu was a BEAST @140, still though he gets overated on ESB, the guy lost to Verno Frickn Phillips. 50/50 fight IMO,

Marquez would need to fight from the pocket, and not allow Kostya to get full extension on his punches, if he does that he can craft his way to a clear UD.

If Tszyu is the one who dictates the range, then it's not beyond possibility that he stops Marquez.

What a fight that would be, very exciting and action packed for sure. Picking Kostya by decision.

lol JMM lost to Freddie Norwood. AND Chris John who I still don't regard very highly. Save me on that homecooking nonsense.

But Kostya would bang with him and hurt him. I got Tszyu in this one.

On one hand, Marquez has the best win over 140, and under 140, and probably all top three career wins between them both, on my card for certain, and maybe even all top five between them, and is far and away the greater fighter.

On the other hand, I have to hesitate to pick against KT in his own neighbourhood, where I consider him an outstanding fighter at peak, and where Marquez would, despite his huge recent win, still be past his best and above his best weight. I really can't say I'd throw any money on an outcome. But it would probably be a classic.

This would be a very difficult fight for JMM,because the long right hand is his money punch, but that sort of range would suit Kostya. We've seen two clear ways to beat Kostya.
JMM is my favourite active fighter, and I don't see him having or using the aforementioned gameplans,so we'd need a new take on it.
I have a gut feeling on this, but I'd like to think about it a bit more.
Good shout though OP.Thought provoking match ups are always a winner for me.

KT always wins in these fantasy type fights vs Mayweather,Mosley,Whitaker,Delahoya,Pacman,Marquez, etc. etc. He never stepped in with the best of his era yet people can somehow visualize him beating these proven champions. I could careless what he accomplished in the amateurs btw no gold. The best prime fighter he ever beat was Judah and I certainly give him his due for that, but what other good prime fighters did he beat much less anyone in the level of the aforementioned fighters. This is just my opinion.

This^^^^^ Exactly is my point. He was a very good fighter, but ESB overates him as an ATG UNBEATABLE, all those guys you mentioned were ATGs with Deep Resumes. Kostas resume is pretty ****, & he got his ass kicked by Hatton(A BUM on ESB) & Phillips. ID argue JMM has a KO win.over a fighter BETTER than Kosta, in Pac. Good matchup though, I got Marquez vby decision
