Well mate, that's the difference between fans & judges.

Fans want to see the best man win. Judges want to see the right man win.

Fans don't understand how that works.

Over the years, I've seen good fighters get flogged, but they had more fans than Elvis, where as the opponent couldn't draw a crowd with a box of crayons.

Bums at ringside choose bums on seats I suppose you could say :lol::lol:
    (In those cases)

Danny Green should man up and fight Enzo Macc ,Now Enzo would be interested in going to Aussie to claim a minor trinket in his quest to regain WORLD DOMINATION @ Cruiser i reckon .. :good on a serious note though this would be an ideal time for the IBO to sanction a fight between their Champion and a bloke considered only European Champion level .

Rodin.....I spent a lot of time in America during my career. When Jeff lost to Azumah Nelson everybody blamed Don King. Some people who were very big punters in Vegas told me Don had no say in the fight. The betting on that fight was incredible. Kerry Packer was one of many betting millions on Jeff. As Jeffs odds firmed the yanks loaded up on Azumah. By fight time the casino had millions to pay out either way. So let me ask you this. Who bet a draw? Makes sense dont you think?

Yeah mate, there's always that prospect where big money is involved, & in the US, it's all that counts. An opportunity to hard to pass makes sense,,but....
Don king not involved??.... & the Germans went no where near Poland.:blood

That big boofheaded flag waving crook couldn't get the words "REMATCH" out of his gob quick enough. Dons "REMATCH" is Swahili for "Me more cash" :D

Correct me if I'm wrong, but King didn't favour from the draw at all, as his contract with Jeff stipulated that Fenech had to win his fights, thus making it null and void. From memory the Don had nothing to do with the return.

See I like your comments, they are direct but gentle.

Just goes to show you how much of the business side I know. One day I may be a bit more up to scratch...

How does one say with the media - "Never let the truth get in the way of a good story!"

I wasn't laughing at you mate, I was laughing thinking from MainEvent's perspective, as it's pretty much about the sum of it for either Choc or Green Machine a week out from a fight - "As long as it sells PPV's!!!"

    Cheers Mill! :good

If you lost the sarcasm this would be spot on.

I don't know why people can't handle mundine winning.

Yeah I heard from some guy there wasn't - that's better than yours.

But in all seriousness that's a ridiculous question, the lack of a rematch and lawsuit and literature all supports me not you. Basing tirade after tirade on a mythical geale rematch clause has resulted in egg on your face, 2 + 2 = 5 in your world :hi:

There is not a rule stating you have to take the title from the champion, you just have to win the fight. It's a ridiculous myth prevalent among commentators and "boxing virtuoso's" like yourself. That's a fact :rofl

    It was above middleweight, next?

    CP :hi:, another great post!

PP :hi:, off topic and ridiculous considering warren's closer links to the WBO.

It's been a high quality discussion thread for 50 odd posts in the absence of the arse-clown - bet he's posted a pile of his usual rolled gold 'I'm ******ed, give me some attention' bull**** above.

    What a pity I can't read it.............LOL!

It ended up with Choc coming in over weight because the IBO wouldn't sanction it.

    Next.

Falliga is a more deserving challenger than what they sanctioned for the cruiserweight belt last time out.

Why would a lawsuit be needed when the IBO ruled a mandatory rematch after the protest?
You have nothing again fanboi.

Really? This is what you deemed a good response?

There would have been no need for him to whine to the IBO if he had the clause, he could have picked up a payday. He clearly didn't have one or he would have sued by now :rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl. Keep pretending he did though, a source would help you :hi:

Do you enjoy mugging yourself off?:lol::lol:

Yes, he brought a wealth of world title experience to the fight and had never won outside of Argentina.

    Well spotted.
