You cant expect Mundine to just ignore the weight difference.

The huge perceived disparity between their weights is a bit of a myth PT.

1/ Green fought Jones in early December at 179.5 lbs.

2/ Mundine fought Falliga in late October at 167.25 lbs.

    The difference is 179.5 - 167.25 = 12.25 lbs.

    and 12.25 pounds = 5.5 kgs.

(feel free to query the maths)

On the basis of the above numbers, all the talk of 10 kgs difference is absolute baloney!

Okay Mundine might be weighing less at the moment than against Falliga, but he's fighting vigorously against nature to get there!

If Mundine really wanted to go where his mouth is (ie 'I'll fight Green at heavyweight now'), he could put on approx 5 kgs without too much effort.

The difference in weight of there last there last fights is nearly 26lb. Dress it up all you want but that was the difference. Your boy is rated number 1 by the WBC at 179lb but there hasnt been mention of him stepping up and challenging for the title. Maybe he is having weight problems.

Yep Green is rated #1 by the WBC at 175lbs. But there's probably no talk because the title holder is facing Bad Chad Dawson in August, a fair way away.

    My boy???????????????

Your boy said he'd fight Green at heavyweight, and tried to enter the ring after the Jones fight and publicly call Green out.

So far Choc's 'world dominance' and 'pioneering' haven't seen him achieve anything other than a gold star from Gloria Marshall.

The natural weights of Green & Mundine are fairly similar. The one who created the disparity, and only recently, is Choc, and for what gain so far?

Green 'aint my pin-up boy! If you read my posts I regularly raise questions about his motives, and lately a lot of what he's up to is sadly comparable to Choc's b/s.

But overall Green certainly compares more than favourably to the lame, empty promises we've endured from Choc for years, while he's carefully tread a path to nowhere!

It understandable you won't want to discuss it here, but deep down you know dam well Choc's wasted his last few years.

To your credit though Flash, you are actually trying to get him back on a path that leads somewhere. Somebody had to!!

    You can't be serious. :patsch
You're sarting to come up with similar rubbish to that idiot 20anus87, yet you should have far more accurate info than most.

You know better than anyone that the difference between Green and Mandy at their best is maybe 10lbs at the most.

Naturally you're biased towards your fighter, however your above comments are just rubbish.

Fellas you can keep saying I am biased towards Choc and I agree I am but you guys have the same problem with your boy. Right now Choc is attempting to fight for the World Middleweight title. You guys have stated time and time again that he wont step up but soon as he attempts to the Danny Green card resurfaces. Danny Green is doing well at the moment and by badmouthing Choc every chance he gets he gets good publicity. In the meantime Choc is waiting for the outcome of next weeks purse bid. Sox.... I believe if anybody deserves a rematch with Choc it should be Daniel Geale. Wasnt his fight with Choc closer than your boys? Maybe that fight does not interest you because they are both the same weight.

    I couldn't agree more.
I guess you mean Green when you say 'your boy'?
If so, then again, I totally agree.
Where are you getting this from?
I have from the moment after their first fight, insisted a rematch happen.

For the record, I'm not much of a Green fan. In fact I don't like him much more than I like your boy. Their mouths are similar in size these days.

Daniel Geale is much better than the pair of them.
If you're going to refer to someone as 'my boy', then make it Geale. :yep

As for the talk of Greens and Mandys weight, I actually don't give a **** whether they fight or not. All I maintain is that they both should back up what comes from their mouth.
But to say they are 26lbs apart is just stupidity, and you know it.

I don't particularly like green either - he's done very well to get where he is with the skills he has.

Mundine is much more talented but he has wasted it unfortunately by chasing the dollar, time for him to show some public humility and win some fans back. Maybe you could teach him that.

Cmon Katsidis! Show both of em what heart is.

Sox..... I am going on there most recent fights. Please check to verify its not rubbish. Like you I am a Geale fan mainly because of my friendship with Billy Traecey. But Daniel is chasing the IBF middleweight title so I dont think a rematch will happen. Have you noticed nobody here is bagging Daniel for fighting Peter Kariuki next although he lost his last fight to Garth Wood. What do you think would be said if Choc was fighting him?

People like geale. He's not a loudmouth.

You can hardly compare Geale at this stage of his career in regards to anthony, totally different. But agreed it probably isn't the most exciting fight.

No Pecks I dont go to the fights much. I start training people at 5.30 every morning so to drive home from Sydney after the fights would kill me. I record the fights and have a look at them around lunch time the next day. I call into the Grange once a month and have lunch with Billy and Graham Shaw. Lunch always goes all afternoon.
