    No worries.

You'll be proud to know that I was in headbutting range from Billy Dibb yet I stayed put. :D

Actually, I overhype my disdain for Dibb, and he conducted himself well during the fight and showed genuine concern for his opponent. :good

exactly.Geale should be the one complaining not Green.the fight between him and Mundine wasnt even close.Green whined in his retirement about weight being
the difference despite on his website offering no excuse now we have people doing maths equations to try and do maths to try and justify a re-match.:patsch
fact Green come out of his epiphany induced retirement as Mundine was about to fight Taylor at MW to challenge him to fight at LHW.
fact when Green KO'd RJJ he called Mundine an irrelevant pissant who he had no interest in fighting anymore now he had KO'd the great RJJ.that is until Nard,Tarver etc and all these big fights failed to materialise he went back to goading Mundine in the press to try and get another payday.
the big opponent he fought after RJJ? OH 5 fights in 5 years Manny Siaca who just happened to beat Mundine when he was a fulltime boxer 6 years ago.Green has been a parasite making his name off the back of Mundine for the best part of a decade.he got a beating and a over 2,000,000 million payday off him once time for Mundine and Green to forget one another and just concentrate on acheiving things in their own weight divisions.just my opinion.why didnt Choc rematch Geale?read on vindy.com that Martinez,Sturm and Mundine were the 3 opponents Kelly was considering for his next bout.he obviously chose Martinez and look what happened.maybe he would of chose Mundine if he had the IBO strap??
what are your thoughts on this?

Pecks.... We will never always agree on what boxers we like or dislike. But I am glad to here that about Billy. I am not a fan of the Rabbitohs but because of friendship I have with Nathan Merrits family I always have a look at there games........ And I never forget the 69 grand final.

Stiffler...... Firstly Pavliks people agreed with the Choc fight. HBO were the ones who pushed for Martinez because of his previous effort against Paul Williams. As we all know HBO decides who they televise not the world champion. I could understand there reasoning as the American public had already been shown of his ability. As far as the IBO and Khoder is concerned lets just say they wont be doing anything together in the coming months. I said to the Grange guys months back to position Daniel for a rematch with Choc but Billy said they were more interested in gaining the IBF title first.

cheers to be honest im not a fan of Choc or Green.but i dont have to like a fighter to enjoy their fights if they fight good opponents.lets hope some meaningful fights materialise for both fighters before they get too old.good luck getting the purse bid for G.G.

You can go on whatever fights you wish, but singling out 1 fight from each is ridiculous.
I'm going on an average of what each fighter has fought at.

Mandy has fought 41 times, only 5 of those have been under 165lbs, and only 3 have been under 160lbs.
3 have also been over 170lbs.

As for Greens 32 fights, only 2 have been over 180lbs, and only 4 have been over 175lbs.
The rest have been at the 168lb or 175lb limit.

    That's a

, and you can't put any other spin on it.
    The facts speak for themselves.
Fine, I'm a fan because of his professionalism in and out of the ring.
He appears to be a gentleman, and a bloody good fighter.
    Only because

That's your boys fault, not Geales.
Why is it you and every other Mandy supporter compare Geales and Mandys career?
    They are at different stages.

How are they comparable based on that alone?

Secondly, Geale does not have the same profile that Mandy has in the sport, it is harder for him to secure bigger fights.

Thirdly, Geale does not claim he's stepping it up and taking on the Pavliks and Sturms of the world every time he opens his mouth to the media.
Geale is a humble guy who will take on whoever is put in front of him as a natural progression.

Lastly, I've said it before, and I'll say it again, I will be the first to hammer Geale if he heads in the same direction as Mandy has with easy targets.

Jeff, you seem like a pretty decent guy, but you're not doing your self any favours by blindly supporting your fighter like this.
Put some perspective back into your argument.

    Flash,

Your the one who only a few weeks ago said Geale 'brings nothing to the table and would have to go win something to get Choc interested'! Now you reckon he's been hard done by!

Naturally you are conflicted by what you say as you're on the Mundine payroll. However, the inescapable fact is, for whatever reasons and excuses, he's wasted the past few years of his career.

How anyone could critisize the boxing press & public for complaints about Choc's repeated failures to step-up, whilst at the same time he's blurting out fanciful bull**** about world domination, is beyond me!

And yes, I'd still like to see him step-up and WIN!

....as I did last year, the year before, and the year before that!

Green needs mundine, geale wants mundine and choc doesn't need either, he's going for a world title at 154 or 160.

Geale is more worthy of a rematch but brings nothing to the table now, that's his job to fix, mundine has a career not a charity.

The nature of fighting weights is a science, you and the other 'expert' who keeps harping on about "insignificant" weight differences and simplistic weight jumps have to realise that fighters have to make a weight that is effective, muscle gain has to be functional to boxing. It's not a case of one of your ice cream binges to even up the scales.

Green will probably cop another beating from "the man" but it won't be on green's terms and I doubt it happens while mundine has aspirations at 160 and below.

    :good

    :good

Maybe because they fought a close recent fight :nut

Geale has an extensive amateur background and probably more rounds of boxing than mundine. They are both australian middleweights. Delusional geale fans still proclaim that geale won despite mundine actually winning. etc etc :lol::lol:

That's what you've been saying to nearly everyone lately!

...guess I'll just have to wait for Flash for a sensible answer.

    It should really read :

This message is hidden because 20a87 has humiliated you in too many different threads and you were not clever/man enough to think of a logical counter point to his vastly superior arguments and points.
