Oh, you mean the Hatton that clinched, hit on the break & low-blowed his way to victory courtesy of another FW stitch-up with Dave Parris as chief accomplice against a post prime, semi-retired Tszyu? If that fight had taken place anywhere else Hatton would have been DQ'ed. Jesus, Hatton has to be one the most over-rated fighters ever to come from these shores, his reputation amongst his neanderthal fanbase is based on how many pints he could hold as opposed to any real boxing ability :deal
bad post, from a khan nutthugger:good hatton, the most overrated boxer blah de blah,do you watch anyone but khan mate. the tszyu fight was dirty, from both fighters, have you watched any of his past fights,he was a dirty ****er as well it aint ****ing cricket sweetheart
Khan could have easily been stopped in that fight by another ref, and today we'd all be hearing a different story. Margins. That's not taking anything away from Khan, he did well, good fight, great win for him, credit to him, but I've seen boxers stopped far before the onslaught he was taking.
Actually numbnuts my favourite fighters from these shores are Lennox, then Calzaghe followed by Benn. Khan gets a rougher ride than most on these boards for some odd reason :huh
Well, this is a thread about Hatton and Khan and your previous posts give Hatton a far rougher ride than Khan gets elsewhere in it. :huh
To be honest, Hatton's only offense was a leaping half left jab-half left uppercut, or lunging in to grab so he could step sideways off the grab for a short hook downstairs (that was mostly blocked by a right elbow/arm). That was it. Khan is 5ft11.5in, Hatton was 5ft5.5in. Let's be realistic. Ricky would struggle to land punches.
