Kostya Tsyzu v Wilfred Benitez

I think Tszyu has a chance in here. He´s excellent at timing his right and i think he could figure out Benitez and land it often enough to put Benitez away. But Benitez would be the favourite in this and if i would bet money, i´d pick him.

 

Good matchup. I am inclined to pick Benitez by decision in this one. But Tsyzu was no slouch.

This would be a fantastic fight but I think I’m going with Benitez who beat hall of famers in three weight classes, could go 15 rounds and who’s chin survived the artillery of Tommy Hearns and Roberto Duran...

 

Benitez actually barely fought at 140 and it was, how do i say it, his least convincing weight and tho precociously talented he was extremely inexperienced here. The odds would probably be on a Benitez decision but the experienced KT would definitely have a punchers chance. Wilfred's durability was always under scrutiny but he was just so hard to hit and even when buzzed was still a defensive magician.
