It's a fact that King Kostya lost to Cool Vince & Ricky Hatton. Stopped both times.

It's also a fact that between 1989 when Kostya lost to the German Olympic gold medalist at the World Amateur Championships until the Ricky Hatton fight in 2005, he only lost once.

That's one loss in 16 years fighting against the best in the world, amateur & pro. As Serge has pointed out, many of Tszyu's fights were on the opposite side of the world to where he was based which increases the chances of defeat.

A lot of those opponents were current, former & future world champions. Many others were blokes who made the Olympic final. He held four wins over the German Olympic champ who beat him at the 1989 World Amateur championships.

I don't know Bud's career as well so dismissing his chances against Tszyu wouldn't be right.

I will say that Kostya at his best could take it as well as dish it. That's always important when considering a head-to-head match-up where both fighters are likely to get hit hard & often.
