In the 7, hatton went down for more than 10 seconds, and it wasn't a low blow. Deal with it UK, you hero is nothing but a scam.
Fail of a thread. The Showtime commentators tried to give Tszyu an out and set it up for him to complain and make excuses. To Tszyu's credit, he would have none of it and he said, "I know where I was at in the fight, I was hurt and there was no point in me to continue." Just stating the facts as they were. If Tszyu can accept he was losing, so should his fans and everyone else.
Hatton got KOed, but as we know, UK is a place of robbery, thus why most fighter avoid fighting their at all cost. I bet ward could've lost the decision to froch if it had taken place in froch hometown, that's how screwed UK judges are.
It was borderline and looked below the belt line to me, also Hatton wasnt down for 10 seconds, he was up instantly, though I didnt like the way Hatton was fighting with the hitting, holding, mauling. It looks very similar to what Ward does in my opinion. Its not a style I am a fan of
Bad reffing =/= robbery. The latter term refers to bad scorecards from the judges. Unfair refereeing is unfair refereeing (whether uneven - handedness in doling out warnings or deductions, allowing too much clinching or not enough infighting, long counts, and premature stoppages). "Robbery" means something else, specifically referring to unfair judging. Of course you do occasionally have scenarios that include both. :yep (ie Ottke-Reid)
Some refs allow rough-house tactics, Fury vs SC Wlad hugging Pov Porter head-butting Brook Hatton vs KT Some refs like to keep it at a distance FMJ vs Hatton
I dont like exessive holding either, but to be fair, both Hatton and Tszyu were going at eachother like bulls that clinching was inevitable. I think both were equally as strong on the inside, but Hatton better at pivoting to the sides to find the angle to deliver power. Thats what won Hatton the fight. Tszyu never complained and to my knowleadge has'nt since, he was in his fair of fights where he did the rough housing.
