just rewatching kostya reminded me how much of a beast he was. such power, and he was like a pitbull. relentless. he was a pleasure to watch.
Tszyu would win the first round on agression , Floyd would then understand that Tszyu is very strong , and do what he does best , and that is find a way to win. Floyds right hand would be landing all night , I think he takes Tszyu out later around the 10th , to be honest I think even though different fighters I think it would be very similar to a Hatton fight , lots of holding from Floyd , but he always gets off first. Remember Tszyu throughout his career has always be relatively easy to hit , with little head movement.
Tszyu never got in the ring with not even one of the best of his era, yet he always seems to kick ass in these hypothetical fights. This dude is beyond overated. Timing truly must have been on his side to avoid fighting DLH,Mosley,FMJ, a non 40yr old Chavez, or Whitaker. Yes I know they all avoided him. DLH and Tszyu took absolute different paths in their careers and somehow Tszyu is the one always praised for **** people think he could have done.
Actually Floyd is on my **** list right now and looking like a real *****. However im not gonna sit here and deny that the Man is a great fighter with great skills. I would have like to have seen KT win this but i dont give him much of a chance here. KT would probably pull out a couple rounds early but once Floyd got going hed make this look fairly easy Floyd by convincing decision or if he tried possible late stoppage, but im thinking he settles for the decision. I say he wins 9 out of 12 rounds.
:good Very true and spot on. Id say KT is a borderline great fighter but not on the level many here put him. He is one of the most(if not the most) overrated fighters on ESB.
DLH - wanted to fight him. Mosley - jumped the whole weight class :think Chavez - got beat by a journeyman named Randall. By the time Tszyu became a champion in 1995, Chavez was always ranked bellow him. When he finally stepped up to the plate, age 38, he got knocked out for the 1st time in his career. Whitaker - was fighting at 154 and 147, when Tszyu was making his name, and was at the end of his career. FMJ - He had a burning desire to fight Demarcus Corley and Arturo Gatti whom he called a paper champion (Tszyu being the real champion). Australian/Russian Tszyu fought almost exclusively in the USA. He was the top fighter in his weight class for a long time (1995-2005). A master boxer with murderous power was not everyone's cup of tea. Timing really was on his side. He had GREAT timing. Timing of his punches, that is.
