Kostya Tszyu vs Floyd Mayweather...who wins?

apparantly is not just me who thinks he is overated. He was a 3-1 dog against a prospect of Judah! Those were Vegas' lines.

Dude....this is about as simple as it gets. DLH is NOT Kostya Tszyu. He doesn't fight like DLH, so your logic, while perhaps right, is purely your opinion. But since we're on DLH,. he had his best moments when he pressed the fight vs. Floyd. Kostya Tszyu is more agressive then DLH.

But loosing to a mediocre fighter doesn't automatically make that fighter overrated. How you bounce back is more important and tells more.

Look at Lewis or more recently, Wlad. DLH lost to Felix Sturm, who really hasn't done much, does that make DLH mediocre?

 

Judah was NOT a prospect. He was a titleholder with several big wins at that point.

 

Well this is a thread between FLoyd vs Kostya. I have to hit Kostya low for Vince Phillips who was a mediocre fighter. And Kostya had to hold for dear life at one of Judah's flurries, simply he didn't have the footwork to get away. Judah clown and he got the punch early. He got his famous right from KOing bunch of guys who is not mobile. Floyd beats Kostya in every category except power. It is not a contest IMO.

Did you not even read what I and other have said about KT being a slow starter? MOST fighters start off that way. Hell, if Zab started off a little slower, he might have won as he got cocky WAAAY too quickly.

Anyway, I said Floyd wins too. But no way as easy as you think. KT was a world class boxer with a huge punch and was SMART as well. Floyd would likley fight smart too and take a decision over foolishly trying to KO him.

 

Kostya is a hofer for his title defenses and some big wins... but if the match gets made. Prime or present. Floyd got my money. I'm out... my head is spinning too much too continue. I'll leave on that note before i say something really crazy for real. peace out fellas.

Speed bothers Floyd, not Power. Kostya will have the puncher's chance but if he doesn't land it would be 10-2 floyd or possible shutout.

 

It wasn't speed that bothered Floyd in his toughest fight to date now was it? It was contant pressure from Jose Louis Castillo. He kept Floyd of of his comfort zone. I would say it's constant aggression that bothers Floyd the most. It helped Zab win some round early, and was the only time DLH had success.
