It would be one tactical technical battle that's for sure. Would go 12 rounds.

Kostya mainly due to the fact that he's the bigger fighter and almost always does well against southpaws. That right hand of his loves lefties.

The way to beat Tszyu is by swarming him and giving him no punching room as Phillips, Hatton, showed.

Tszyu normally excelled vs boxers especially Southpaws and he had great timing and a dynamite right hand.

Realistically this would have to be at catchweight and Tszyu would be too big and would have too much power.

I think Tszyu's KO power and size would make Lomachenko hesitant and Tszyu would win on points.

If Lomachenko took risks then he could end up getting slept by Tszyu's right hand.

    Either way Tszyu wins.

Kostya was much bigger than Loma. He was a big 140 and very much belonged at 140, Loma was a tiny 135 and really had no right being at that weight even though he achieved a lot up there and should have been by rights not only a three-belt unified champ at that weight but undisputed at that weight

Kostya could've easily fought and won world titles at 147

And even worse, Kostya is one of the most devastating punchers and finishers in the history of 140 and just one of the best punchers in the sport. The Ring had him at #67 in their 100 Greatest Punchers of All Time rankings

Despite him being tiny for 135, that weight class being his 7th-9th if he turned pro in his teens (16-19), I firmly believe Loma could've easily won world titles at 140 especially against the right champs just purely based off his otherworldly skill level alone if he wanted to but it would've been a very tall order for him to do it vs ATGs at that weight who also happened to be ATG punchers as skilled and talented as Kostya

As for Loma vs Kosyta at 135. Kostya was a career 140 and never fought at that weight

At what point did Kostya ever make LW?

He was a career JWW and the weightclass for this hypothetical doesn't make sense. Now at SLW, Kostya beats Lomachenko. Loma was out of place and far too small at LW, and then going against a sniper like Kostya at SLW...............nah, he would've met his limit. Loma was too small and didn't have the right style for Kostya.

To be fair, Loma wouldn't even take risks against Teofimo so its hard to imagine he would do so versus Tszyu.

To be fair, that was not the case in the 2nd half of the fight he took the fight to Teo and was even walking him down and beating him up at times.

Loma was a very aggressive fighter and despite routinely fighter bigger or much bigger guys and plenty of punchers and ones who were KO artists and big or huge punchers at a weight he was tiny for, he has only fought tentatively once in his career and it was for only like half the fight, whereas, conversely, many who graduated at the American school of slickness are extremely risk averse and tentative even vs opponents their own size or even smaller

    Loma is a funny fighter.

He is super talented obviously and is genuinely technically exceptional but mentally he just lacks the ring IQ and seems to overthink in many fights that he should be winning.

Somewhere along the line KT stopped using his boxing skills and just fell in love with his power.
If you watched him in the amateur ranks he could box beautifully as well as punch.

Zoo. Just too big for Loma, and too good against SPs

Yep Tszyu would be depleted at 135 if they were the same weight it would be a very interesting fight style wise. Loma was small at 135 and would be tiny at 140 you are right though he could beat the right opponents at 140 just based on his skillset alone.
135 Loma beats a depleted Tszyu and at 140 Tszyu beats a too small Loma.
