Interesting match with two of my favorite guys. I imagine they would put on a techincal display.

If you were advising these fighters, what would be your plan??

And of course, who do you favor?

    **EDIT: Sorry was thinking P4P.

The fight would get cancelled due to Mike's inability to make weight.

If they were the same size, I favor McCallum. I think he was the better fighter. Look out for Tszyu's right hand and try to take him out of his game. Tszyu could get disorganized when he wasn't controlling the tempo and pace of the fight. While McCallum was not a swarming pressure fighter, he could come forward and apply subtle pressure. Mixing up shots to the head and body, pulling back from shots to take away its power. He was very relaxed in there. I'd have Mike press the issue in this manner.

I know, I'm an idiot. McCallum is way bigger... I was thinking of a fantasy matchup. More of styles.

    P4P.

Tszyu beats him. McCallum is too weight drained.

    if we're talking pound-for-pound,

McCallum would give him a boxing lesson

I'va always felt that Kosta's right hand kind of made him get away from all of the tremendous boxing skills he had. When he first came up, you could see he still used them. Then, he just relyed on the power of that great right hand, and became more of just a puncher.

Tszyu was also a perfect size for a strong jr middle. Never went up or down chasing fights or avoided others. Always admired that.

    Is this a ****in joke?

Only way to comparable them is in a P4P sense, in which case McCallum was simply a much better fighter than Tszyu.

Well in order to make the fight competitive Tszyu would have to make McCallum drain 14 lbs
