The early Tszyu would have a better chance than the overly muscular sniper of his supposed 'prime'. I'll take Tszyu on points. Well schooled, won't be bothered by Locche's limited offence. Locche makes it close, but Tszyu has more avenues to win.
It would be a bull and matador fight but Tyszu is too much of a precise offensive machine for Loche to clown him as he did with others. I think the bodypunching and the precision would get through and I could see a stoppage win.
If Tszyu went for the body hed have a good shot, especially when he was younger, but this fight is a pickem for me.
Tszyu was a tremendous jrw with a style all his own and with that right hand the hardest puncher in the division but in Locche he would be facing the best defensive fighter in history. He had an extraordinary ability to stand stationary with his hands by his side and sometimes behind his back and avoid punches from the most devastating bangers of his era including Cervantes Ortiz and Hernandez. He didn't have much in the way of offense but he only needed to land a few shots to steal each rd because he rarely took a solid shot. He was a true genius of the ring and probably the most ringwise boxer ever. He is highly underated and because he fought almost exclusively in argentina his career went by with the boxing world knowing little about ''el untouchable.'' Like a lot of defensive wizards he was eccentric being a chain smoker all his life and having a dislike for the gym. I think he outpoints Tszyu.
You are overrating him. His winning rounds for only landing a couple of shots had more to do with him fighting in front of friendly officials than actually deserving them. He was a great defensive fighter but he was incredibly negative and rarely put on any offense, especially at home. Friendly officiating had a lot to do with his glossy record and thats why I give Tszyu a good shot, if its fought on neutral territory.
The Locche of the Fuji fight was one of the finest technicians there's ever been. Tszyu gets schooled. He has his moments here and there, but for the most part, Locche dominates him. Tszyu is being a bit overrated in this thread. Tszyu never in his career beat anyone NEAR as good as Cervantes (who also would have beaten Tszyu).
I can't see Locche winning rounds against Zoo too much. Prime Zoo was strong, powerful and an offensive demon. Maybe the best pure offence vs the best pure defence the division has seen. I just can't picture Zoo missing loads.
nearly all his big fights were in America so what about that for friendly atmosphere where he knocked a guy out in one round yet Don King managed to influence that as a draw,.... oh yeah Tszyu had it easy didn't he
