Oscar was a beast at 140 and would dismantle Kostya with his left jab and hook behind his footwork, The speed Oscar possesed at 140 hand and foot wise, would be too much and lets not forget that Oscar faced bigger punchers than Kostya so a ko for tszyu is reaching a bit.

Yeah I have no problem Tszyu beating DLH at 140.

DLH put himself in a nice position for Tszyu to dismantle him with extremely accurate and forceful shots. Tzsyu is also patient and deceptive with his movement (subtle pressure), meaning, DLH's open chin becomes too often exposed with Kostya's clean shots.
I can see DLH continue to score, but he slows down, as do the majority of fighters against prime Tszyu and rein in their aggression pretty quickly once they feel his power, hence power, is the key advantage here.
Tszyu has underated boxing skills that give him an equal comparison to guys like DLH as well.

He was also knocked down and hurt against those guys. Lets be a little more accurate though. He didn't really take any punches, from a blown up and SHOT Chavez. He was in a different league to Molina, who is NOT the same type of fighter KT is, certainly not as talented. Took punches and was HURT agaisnt Quartey. Who doesn't have the one punch power KT had. Boxed cautiously and didn't take punches against Trinidad. So its not like he stood in the pocket with all these gusy and traded. And its not like he wasn't hurt. KT could definitely hurt him. He was an excellent and under rated boxer as well. KT had a strong jab, and the fact that Oscar was always wide open for the right hand would play big favours for Kostya. Kostya was the more physical fighter, and definitely had the hand speed and boxing ability to force Oscar into a war. At mid range, Kostya was very very hard to beat. Although Oscar had slightly better handspeed, Kostya through his shots with more power, and had the better timing.

You don't get it, it's not that easy. Cotto got rocked by Corley and Torres, yet he was able to handle SSM's shots. Does that mean Torres and Corley punch harder than Mosley?

Andrade was seriously hurt against Mack, but took Kesslers punches, does that mean Mack punches harder than Kessler?

Holyfield was hurt against Ruiz, but never really hurt against Tyson. Does Ruiz hit harder than Tyson then?

At 140, DLH's chin isn't the same as it is at 147 or 154, additionally he filled out, and he didn't have to drain as much to make weight.

DLH was never going to outbox Tsyzu, no one ever came close to that. There's a reason that Chris Byrd, SSM and others have said Tsyzu was one of the best amateur boxers they have ever seen.

Again, the only way Tsyzu loses at 140 is if he is overconfident and headhunts. In his prime, he was a beast.

To be honest the way I see it is, the physically stronger and faster version of Tzsyu that was pre Phillips was also a bit brash and loving his power. A lot of the reason why he lost to Vince.
That version of Tszyu would cop to many hard shots from Oscar and probably lose a decision. I think this Kostya stuggles with Oscar combinations of size and skills.

The post Phillips version of Tszyu who was more patient and seasoned but gradually was physically less potent. That Tszyu couldnt handle Oscars handspeed IMO. Oscar has chin that has proven to be better than Judah's so I dont think Kostya quite has the same punchers chance there. I watched a lot of Kostya's late career in a marathon session like 2 weeks ago and he got caught a lot. Though generally he wasnt in there with punchers who could hurt him. I think Hoya at 140 was a very good puncher.

I dont this is an open and shut fight though. Both were great fighters at the weight, Kostya obviously owning it for many years. I think to say De la Hoya is a shoe in is silly, and same to say Kostya would be guaranteed of victory.
I just feel that Kostya had a mixed bag of performances that showed several faults, how ever slight, that Oscar could take advantage of at anytime in Tszyu's career.

The same can be said about DLH from his many fights. But if we are talking about the best Tsyzu at 140 vs. the best DLH at 140, Tyszu is the obvious choice.
