Kostya Tszyu vs Sugar Shane Mosely

I got Tszyu by decision after seeing what Tszyu did to Vernon Forrest in the amateurs I reckon he out boxes Mosely. Both guys have great power so it would be an interesting fight for sure.

 

Ill take mosely or forrest in the pros over tzyu at 147. mosley over tzyu at 140

 

Tszyu never fought at 147.

He was a natural at 140 and at that weight I think he gives both guys a fearful beating.

Kostya shows Sugar Shane how to handle Vernon Forrest. Is it any wonder the Big Doodles from back in the day didn't want the Kostya Tszyu smoke? You don't see performances like this in the amateurs even today.

No, it was in Sydney as a pre-Olympics event, WaR. I watched heaps of this tournament at the time. The little bloke from the Soviet Union with the pigtail & the big bloke from Cuba (Felix Savon) were standouts. Savon short-circuited David Tua in 17 seconds. Oscar was there for this one but was eliminated in the first round.

 

Would have been awesome seeing this fight. I think Mosley's speed and explosive power would have gotten to Tszyu at some point in the fight.

 

I know the professional game is very different to the amateur sport but anybody watching that who thinks that Tszyu doesn’t eliminate Forrest in very short order as a pro is delusional.

The class and power difference is as obvious as it gets. It was like a cat toying with an injured mouse.

 

Everyone talks about Tzysu's strength but Shane was insanely strong not too mention, he would have a huge hand and foot speed advantage against Tzysu as well. I think Shane stops him late.
