Watched this again just to see the KO but finally took the time to watch all of the **** that happened after the fight, i had read the freak out he had on Nady but i didnt ever watch it the crowd didnt seem to like it either, was there a serious push for a rematch considering the way it ended i dont think it was controversial it was weird and had Zab maybe waited til 8 to get up maybe he wouldnt have buckled but who knows, did writers and fans and promoters really push for a rematch or did his antics really spoil the chance for a rematch [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_kf8dImEIEA[/ame]
Same outcome in a rematch, so no need. Kostya never had too many problems with slick, fast southpaws. In a way I wish Nady let it go on so Tszyu could spark him completely. Zabs conduct was pathetic but I don't think it really made any difference to a rematch happening or not. Did he ever call Tszyu out again? I know he said he'd like a rematch in the interview but did he really want it? I doubt it.
Zab Judah gets knocked out again similar to this [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GLOnVBx_yqc[/ame] Maybe even worse. KTFO!
zab landed his best shots(straight left and uppercut) in the first round and did not hurt kt. at that point, both fighters knew the eventual outcome and a rematch would end exactly the same.
You link that vid in all 209 of your posts? Also... Leander got KO'd by a grocery bagger with a 11-10 record.. and hasn't fought in over a year since being KO'd by some other bum. :signs
I choose Zab in the rematch. But in the first fight, even if Zab had risen, he would lose. It was a big punch and Zab would not be the same for the rest of the fight.
Judah talked himself out of a rematch with his pre-fight mouthing off, and Kostya applied exactly what Judah had said in not offering him a rematch. Nady called it right on the night, and Judah just couldn't accept he'd lost. Sadly for all concerned he made an absolute clown of himself.
Before the fight, Zab said something like: “The winner will be champion and the loser a street sweeper” After the fight, he asked Kostya for a rematch. He replied: “I dont fight street sweepers”
I don't remember the word streetsweeper being used. But the gist of what you say above is certainly true. Judah tried to make it an all or nothing fight with his prefight trashtalk thinking he'd win, and it backfired later on him.
