    No thanks.

There's practically half a century separating the two boxers. If one seriously cares to include all the variables, all comparisons become an exercice in futility.

These past vs. present fantasy matchups are silly at best.

Ive always found Tszyu incredibly overatted. When your best win is vs Zab Judah then I question how good your resume really is. Another thing is the only 2 very tough fights he was ever involved in where he was pushes to his limits he got brutally KOed by Vince Phillips and quit vs Hatton although I suppose I dont blaim him for the way they screwed him that night.

Tzyu would have smoked Lou's glove for sure. Ambers fought longer , and at a higher level aginst better opposistion. What Hatton did to Tzyu, Ambers would have done better and would have punched the **** out of Hatton 6 weeks later.

I don't know who Lou Ambers was, but I'll agree anyway. Tszyu was an exceptional boxer/puncher. Great power, great ring smarts, very tough, with decent hand speed and a good arsenal of punches.

Ok, now that I've read up on Ambers a bit I change my mind. He beats Tszyu.

some of the classic lads could go into more detail on ambers, but i know he only lost something like 8 or 9 fights in over a 100 fighting and beating a lot of good men,and was tough as old rope.tszyu to me has always been overrated and a guy who went the distance with people like henry armstrong and tony canzoneri would last out against tszyu.ah what the heck he beats tszyu's butt!

The classic fans would have you told that I know nothing about classic boxers, yet I know plenty about Ambers and it seems nobody here in the general forum does.

Though, Cardstars got the pick correct and Jaco followed, as per usual. Tszyu TKO 1.

Im going to add this one more and final time to the idiots that constantly say Tszyu is overated.

First and foremost he is a boxer with bigger nuts than any poster on here. He has been in the ring against some of the best in the world and stood on top for more than ten years.

If you are going to overate someone you have to take everything into account.
    Where there fights took place
How many title fights they won or even had
How long the were on top as Ring #1 in there division
    There opponents
There knowledge and how they won against there opponents.
How many fighters they fought in there Prime against other Prime guys.

Overating a guy just because he lost 2 fights on foreign soil both World Title fights is just a little well STUPID.

Next someone will be telling me
    Aaron Pryor is Overated
    Joe Calzaghe is Overated
    Bernard Hopkins is overated
    Marvin Hagler is Overated
    Larry Holmes is Overated

Tszyu isnt overated because i feel you can only fight who is put in front of you.

This is the case of modern boxing.
