Please.Kostya is retired. His been fighting once a year since he unified against Zab way back in 02/03.Phillips is so old his spitting dust and Kostya doenst matter at 140 anymore. His spirit may be willing but his flesh is weak.

I would like to see him go out with a win, this guy deserves it. But he shouldnt think about Mayweather tho, theres no chance Floyd will fight Kostya instead of all other money making machines.

Well mate many people said the same about Mosley until he changed their minds. Speaking of which it's very easy to draw similarites between the two fighters. Both are humble champions who love to fight more than most. This is evident in their performances. It would've been very easy to blame his defeat on the ugly low blow from Hatton. But he took his lumps and went home giving credit to Ricky for his big win. It's incredibly naive to assume Kostya doesnt have a chance at 140 or 147. If he does come back you can bet on it being a fantastic fight whomever he fights. Cheers:good

Kostya is way past his prime. He probably wouldnt be able to beat any top 140lbers - save gavin rees and would defineatly not be able to beat any top 15 guys at 147.
