I think around the year 2000-01, this fight would have made a whole lot of sense, and would have been a hell of a fight. Diaz was a very good contender and had been been on a 25 fight winn8ng streak including wins over Quiroz, Ward, Spinks, Robinson, and Augustus who was hell for anybody he fought. I think he would have had a great shot at beating Tyszu, by forcing Tyszu back and fighting on the inside and imposing his will. He had a very good Chin and was big for a 140 pounder, but I would have rather he stayed at 140 and fought Kostya rather than move up to 147 against Mosley. Thoughts?

My thoughts are Diaz would have gotten a terrible beating.
