Kotelnik landed only 20 more punches but was outthrown by 400. What a robbery!

MichiganWarrior is one of the most ignorant posters on here man. It's hard to argue with him with his reading comprehension. Save your time and energy.

Disagree, had he been more aggressive early. Alexander would have had more openings.

He was frustrating Alexander in the early rounds with terrific defense. But he did turn it up in the championship rounds. So I had him winning the fight by a close decision.

The four elements of judging are:
    1. Clean, effective punching: Kotelnik
    2. Effective aggression: Kotelnik clearly
    3. Ring Generalship: 50/50
    4. Defense: Kotelnik clearly
The emphasis is always on the first element and the other three are arguably equal to each other in secondary importance.

I had it 117-112 for Kotelnik

From rounds 1-6 all of these were easily Alexanders. He was landing the better jab, landing more punches, and had the higher workrate. From rounds, 6-12 all of these were in favor of Kotelnik.

117-112? Dont know how you get 17-12 on a regulary scoring system. But ok. 117-112 is just as bad as the judges scoring it 116-112 Alexander.

This is professional boxing, not the amateurs. Rounds aren't won by throwing a bunch of punches that land on gloves and arms, you win them by landing the cleaner and more effective punches. Kotelnik took Devon to school and beat his ass.

kind of reminds me of floyd-castillo... but of course your argument for that one started on the other end of the spectrum.
