He can fight as many faded boxers, and use as many bullshit conditions as he wants; I'm not gonna suck him off, and pretend like he's p4p #1 afterwards.

The BJS that fought Coceres would go out like Kovalev, against Canelo. The only way he's a threat to any top level fighters, let alone Canelo, is if he puts himself in the same shape as he was in against Lemieux. With BJS, it's hard to tell how he will perform against anybody, because he's just so damn inconsistent.

This is part of what's wrong with boxing. How does Canelo deserve full credit for beating a feeble version of an already declining fighter? The weight gap isn't just what made this bout compelling. It was also Kovalev's age and lack of preparation. I'm supposed to respect that? We're supposed to pretend like he knocked out the Kovalev that beat Eleider Alvarez or even Yarde?

nobodys asking you to, reread my post, its about scratching at him, not blowing him.

    i disagree, hes consistently bad.

so dont give him full credit, nobody is saying you have to. i said last february that he should be looking at kovalev, cause hes about ripe. does that sound like someone giving him full credit? i have no doubt back then you never even dreamed he would have the marbles to attempt that, in any situation. i know exactly who he beat and what he did, and its a lot more than all those fighters youre quick to defend.

You say that he went up and stomped on Kovalev, like destroying someone in that state is something to be proud of.

I didn't think he would face Kovalev. It doesn't negate what I saw on fight night. Canelo dropped a corpse.

If it weren't for the fact that he's a cash cow, he could easily have at least 3 losses on his record. I'm sure whatever fighters I'm apparently quick to defend, don't have the privileges that Canelo does.

Canelo is one of the most overrated fighters of all time. Right up there with Tyson.

Lol it wasn't a dive. If he took a dive, why the **** would he wait 11 rounds to do so.

Kovalev deserves all the **** he gets for this, but he did not take a dive. He got legitimately KOd, you’d have to be a moron to believe that It was fake. And the reason he barely threw any power punches is because he barely has any power punches left in his arsenal any more. I remember people praisin Yarde for avoiding Kova’s power punches. Well, It wasn’t Yarde avoiding them, It was Kovalev being unable to throw them.

    Las Vegas.

    Casinos.

    Betting.

    Gambling capital of the world.

Perhaps the odds were juicy and favourable for a Canelo 11th round TKO?

I'm not saying Kovalev willingly got KO'd.....

However, I will speculate that both fighters followed a different script. Kovalev was happy to coast and lose a UD and keep his dignity. Canelo was told to go for the kill as soon as Kovalev looked tired. And he did.

The main thing that this shows is that Kovalev walked into the fight not truly believing he could win, for reasons having little to do with Canelo himself. That does take a lot of credit away from Canelo. As for Kovalev he's never been very mentally strong and that remains his number 1 weakness.

At least Tyson had a natural size disadvantage against 90% of his opponents, not to mention he never tested positive for PEDS.

Can we say the same about Clenelo?

Kovalev is lying.. He took a prepaid dive. Why didn't he didn't throw a real jab the entire fight?

DLH and Canelo don't care if they are being called cheaters.
However, that's because they are not good in marketing. Eventually fans will turn away from Canelo and they will start losing money.
