Kovalev is a beast and future king of 175, been sayin it all along, but your an imbecile if you think Hopkins would duck him. He already faced big punchers like Cloud and even fighters like Calz and Dawson that had styles that were against his favor. Hopkins, unlike Mayweather, has nothing to prove.

    Golovkin is a German citizen.

  7. He is Russian/Korean from German heritage, since in his hometown lived 70% Germans. The reason that GGG could come to Germany easily is, because he is a German resettler. His residence is in Stuttgart.

Well unlike Cleverly, Hopkins has defense and power. Call me crazy, but Im picking Bernard on this one. I dont see how Kovalev is any different than Pascal. Someone enlighten me.

I was there & Kovalev is a freak. His punches don't look that hard, he doesn't get much torque/leverage but everytime he landed you could hear this dull, booming thud.

Clev was a bit naïve but Kovalev is very impressive live, I don't see anyone at 175lbs beating him unless Ward moves up.

Not surprised at all. Gotta give Cleverly credit for taking the fight, testing himself and trying to find out where he sits in the scheme of things. No shame in catching a beating from a guy like Kovalev, who continues to lay waste to the LHW division. The ref tried his best to help Cleverly out too, but he really just had nothing to work with.

Well guess I was completely wrong about the outcome of the fight. Horrendous
fight by Cleverly, why on earth would you try to walk down a puncher.
