Kovalev actually gonna fight Jean Pascal?

    I can't believe this. I literally thought this was a joke. Is this actually happening?

    It's almost like DSG fighting Malignaggi again. The first fight showed absolutely, and I repeat, absolutely nothing that suggested Pascal had the slightest of chances against Kovalev. Later on Pascal got terrorized by Yunieski Gonzalez and got a gift decision from the judges - and now he's getting another shot at Kovalev? Just how?

    This s*** is seriously ****ed up.

    Probably just to keep busy, and decent name before facing Ward, if Ward fight happens in 2016 i dont care who they face before that!

    rip pascal :(, I'm still a big fan of his, loved watching the bute fans go on suicide watch after pascal made him look like a *****.

    To be fair, it's about money, Pascal in Quebec still bring more $$ than Barrera/Y. Gonzalez/Monaghan in US.

    Obviously excluding Haymon fighters...
    Kov's summer '16 fight should be MUCH better though, will probably be mando against Beterbiev or unification against Stevenson.

    Pascal is really the only known name to step in the ring with Kovalev without any hesitation. Gonzalez turned down the fight, Barrera is an unproven prospect, most other contenders are with Haymon, Chilemba-Alvarez is scheduled, Braehmer is happy with his regular reign, We don't even know if Ward is a LHW or not. And Pascal gave the Krusher a better fight than B-Hop and many others did and won his last fight, controversially or not. I don't know what's the big deal considering the circumctances.

    This bum is ducking Stevenson. There can be no doubt about that now.

    Both the WBC and Superman have said they want to put the fight on.

    What does Krusher do? Rematches a guy he battered to bits..:tired:barf

    It'd be totally fine if he fought one of the Cubans, or someone like Monaghan, or that Skoglund fellow, I'm pretty sure there would be others up for the challenge. This will simply be a replay of the first fight. Extremely pointless and boring. Very disappointing.

    Pascal spent the majority of the fight in his shell and got outlanded 2X. That's not what I'd call a slugfest at all.
