The results were reviewed and the blows deemed legal by an authority above your pay grade. You've been given humble admission straight from the man in the ring that Ward performed on a high level. Your analytical skills and ability to define influencing punches isn't as refined as you'd like. if you truly think the two plausible low blows changed the atmosphere of this fight then you are sadly mistaken but you're entitled to be wrong...Weeks unfortunately stopped the fight immediately & yes prematurely after Ward delivered those low blows, however they play a very minimal role in Kovalev's unraveling during the round.

I still can't understand why this is such a hard concept to absorb. I'm aware of the fact that you consider America and American culture as foundationless and corrupt but this particular situation lacks the negative substance you're looking for. You'd gain more respect from your peers focusing on the solid truth and tangible evidence instead of wasting your time co-signing intolerance and unproductive whining and move on. Embrace the glory of the fight and the raw truth it reveals between two men fighting for pride and ignore the outside distractions.

You'll enjoy and recognize the brilliance of the fight more when you watch it without predeterminations and lofty expectations.

To mirkos credit he hasn't cried nearly as bad as the first go. Kudos. Looks like we're all growing from this experience and I'm surprised I haven't been banned yet tbh lmao

LOL it is not like the "authority above my pay grade" can't be corrupt, right? NSAC proved that they tend to ignore the rules several times before. Especially when USADA gave a retroactive TUE to Mayweather without notifying NSAC when USADA didn't even have the right to do that, it is the sole right of NSAC to give a TUE to any boxer in Nevada. Bob Bennett, their president was crying a bit about it in the media, yet he did absolutely NOTHING against that blatant breaking the rules.

Whoever translated this Russian into English did a much worse job of Kovalev explaining himself properly after low blows give him erectile dysfunction for life.

He clearly meant that Wards performance improved in the rematch.

He is correct with his assertion that he fought two men in that ring and there needs to be an investigation as to why that was allowed to occur.

Ward does indeed deserves credit for using the circumstances to his full advantage.

Different situation, every case is different the video showing the punches is available for all to see there's no room amibiguity and misinterpretation there's no he said she said just solid tangible evidence.

I can't stop you from believing the organization is corrupt if it makes you sleep better at night to always presume everything that doesn't go your way is unjust then so be it.

My father fought in the Vietnam war, he was pulled out of his masters program in Fordham university shipped across the earth to fight for a selfish cause. He returned to the US with stripes and accolades only to be denied food service at a Dennys down south because of his skin color. Does this stop me from enjoying $2 pancakes with my father today at our local Dennys nope.....terrible example just thought I'd share lmao!

The better man who got outpunched in 6 of 8 rounds, and then lands possibly 4 low blows in the round and wins the match on 3 clearly illegal low blows.

Time for Kovalev to shut up, sit down, and be humble.

First fight had Sergey landing more with Ward landing at a higher rate of accuracy. Same happened for the second fight except Ward landed more power punches this time around and Sergey really upped the volume on the jab. Still marginal differences which came to no surprise. I think the saddest part about all this is the unreal focus on 3/4 low blows (I thought there were 2) as telling the story of the fight, it simply isn't true and it's been explained and iterated dozens of times. I think folks will have to agree to disagree.

Yeah, if Wilder come over to the UK and was being hit in the torso vs Bellew and crumpled over into the ropes, and Tony finished him off with a low blow I'm sure you'd be saying well done Tony Bellew.

Kovalev said Ward did better in rematch not that Ward was the better man. He also said he had to fight 2 people in the ring. The message is clear but the OP lied. In fact Kovalev fought 2 people in the ring and 2 of the judges. Only Steve Weisfeld did his job.
