I’m not that big of a fan of kovalev, I think he’s past his prime , he is also dumb and that makes me care less about him. So if I’m home I’ll watch it , if not I’ll watch the replay. The only boxer whose fights I use to watch no matter what was Wlad, but I stopped watching him too after Jennings fight as I knew he was shot and was going to lose very soon hahha.

 

All comes down to Kovalevs stamina.

 

If Kovalev somehow pulls it off then he's a cert for being an ATG at the weight.. Being a 3 time LHW champion is a fantastic career accomplishment to have! Does he have one last great performance in him?

 

Unless Kovalev has worked on his speed and jab it’ll be the same outcome, Alvarez was beating him to the punch so much in there 1st fight

 

He does? Or does that mean he lost it 2 times and he is not a certified all time great. Guys like Spinks never lost it like that.

 

Virgil Hill had something like 25 title defenses at light heavy and cruiserweight. Yet Hill is not a certified all time great and Kovalev is for losing 2 of his biggest fights, and then next one to a guy who really was unknown?

Alvarez is clearly very good. He beat Anatoliy Dudchenko. Triple dud... Beast! & Stevenson ducked him..

I'm predicting a look on Kov's face similar to the face of Chocolatito (Rungvisai II) in between rounds 2 and 3. From the look on Roman's face, it was obvious the fight was already over. I feel like Alvarez is gonna go hard at Kov, shatter whatever fake confidence he had mustered up, and get him out of there by round 3.
