Kovalev and his fans are hypocrites.

Floyd/****** fans are a bunch of focking idiots. This is Haymon's way of ducking Kovalev cause he knows the ****** will get rapèd. Haymon knows he can't lose in a purse bid which means he will get to pick who will show the fight and he knows Kova only fights for HBO. Not only that, if he wins the purse bid the ****** will get more of the money and that's why Duva pulled out. I have no doubt if Haymon wins the bid he will have this fight scheduled right after Kova fights his mandatory so tell me if you're Kathy Duva if you would go thru the whole shítty process. :hi::hi::hi:

1. They already worked out that the split would be 50/50 regardless of established rules for the Kovalev-Stevenson fight.

2. The mandatory position was already advocated for by Duva along with the guidelines of the purse bid.

3. Kovalevs team already knew that winner of the purse bid would choose the network and venue BEFORE he signed his exclusivity deal with HBO.

4. I'm a Kovalev fan but we can't sit here calling Stevenson a duck for what happened before while ignoring that Kovalevs camp just pulled the same garbage. They either both ducked eachother Stevenson before and Kovalev now or they didn't.

5. Be objective and set the same criteria for all boxers instead of having special rules for the ones you support. This whole ordeal blows being a Kovalev fan but it is what it is. If Stevenson pulled this he would be receiving even more hate for doing the same thing he did last time but this times it's Kovalev.

 

6.How about you look up details on this fight instead of splits for other fights !

my point was, champ of the sanctioning body calling for the purse bid would get 75% of the purse bid money.

 

I think it's funny that some people are in full damage control pulling up links to other fights and their purse splits without looking up this fight and it's purse split. If they had done that they would of realized that Kovalevs people and Stevensons people already agreed on 50/50. It's also mentioned over at the scene.

 

Check out my second post I tacked on. The first thing agreed on about this fight was that it was to be 50-50 regardless of the current sanctioning body rules. I know the rules but this what made to be a special case.

 

That's usually how it works, but not in this case. Other champs usually aren't the mando. Given Kovalev's championship status, The WBC mandated that each side would get 50% no matter who won the purse bid. Again, Duva lobbied to make Kovalev the mando. She also stated before that Kovalev's contract with HBO ended in March. So she knew a purse bid would occur, and they even moved up the purse bid so that Kovalev wouldn't have to languish as a free agent while they sorted it out. For whatever, reason, they supposedly signed a exclusive deal with HBO very recently and pulled out of the purse bid.
