No, there's elite fighters, not by weight. Kov showed in the last 2 fights to be just below elite. If he bounces back and shows his old self, we can call him Elite. Though if you want to call him elite, he's shown he has skills to back that up. I'm not looking at you crazy or nothing.

Kovalev is a great fighter.. He lost two controversial fights VS one of the best... No matter what people say about Ward.. The guy has beaten everyone... So to say he was bested by Ward is no shame.. Only problem here is the bs stoppage by Weeks and that the first fight was close.. Nothing to be ashamed off.. You win some and you lose some..
