He destroyed everyone in front of him....He made them look like jokers because he was a killer

Not necessarily bad training. The body changes as it ages and a sudden a change could have made his former training wrong for him. Now he is beginning to consider moving up in weight because he just realized that he can no longer maintain 175 pounds without suffering extreme weakening of stamina. Aging makes no exceptions.

Everyone knows Joe wasnt a killer, he actually had poor, weak punch technique for a world level boxer. He relied on tank, volume, weakened opps and hometown setup.

jokers dont make u a killer. They make the world NOT notice you, as displayed by him never getting any sports headlines till lacy.

but he was world class, theres no doubt he was.

He had a late prime anyway - beating injured kessler was a better performance than beating up crippled retiring Woodhall and such.

He had weak hands, he was a puncher early career ask Eubank. He was that good he changed his style or retire...His resume was very good, loads of world champions he beat before lacy, he just didn't fancy America. Like Ward and all the others, found it hard to travel

no he wasnt, eubank was just weight drained and end of career.

he punched the aame way back then as he did later. there is no difference at all. there was no improvement in his weak but volume style.

k now you are just BS-ing, its a known fact his resume is weak.

joe had strengths, of course, but theres no need to invent power and resume to his real abilities.

    what does this mean?

why are a mans physical features relevant to his abilities. I dont get you at all.

Whatever his features, its a fact that he was still unheralded in British media until Lacy. He became relevant just before winning the IBF belt, which he went on to defend just once.

Don't be stupid, course he was heralded..Beating Eubank when so green told everyone he was legit....People rate him as the best super middle of all time...You need to jump on board and start respecting...Drop that chinless gym fighter from your avatar and pop Joe there. Guaranteed you'll instantly feel better

no he WASNT. no one recognised wbo wins in the 90s and early 2000s. The most he got in newspaers outside Cardiff was occasional smallprint underneath the major boxing headlines.

His first recognised defences came towards the end of his reign, beginning arguably with the fiasco with Manfred and followed by a good win against Lacy.

Besides Sergei tKovl8ter would wipe him out.

That's not to say he didn't fight anyone good before then (robin reid stands out as the best example) - but you need to recognise the difference between being noticed and being smallprint.

Best super middle of all time without a doubt. Eubank was a better win than Lacy also, history proves that. Joes the don of dons.

Eubank at the time wasn't better, what on earth are you talking about that history shows it? eubank was finished winning titles and cutting from another division at the time - that knowledge has NEVER changed whether its 1997 or 2017. Why doy uo write such nonsense?

And you posted that in the full knowledge that Ward beat the best 2 LHWs and eclipsed joes best win in his first title fight.

You know Joe isn't even in the runnnings for that kind of competition. Froch did more, and hes not even close to the best SMW. I have no idea how you write what you do without feeling an idiot.

Could you explain your big lips comment please.

Listen and listen good! The man gave hell to a top pound for pound fighter in Ward! Ward is going to go down as one of the best of this era! In my mind Kov split fights with Ward. Kov is no joke and it took a great and very accomplished fighter to reveal Kovalev's weakesses! The man still beats every other LHW today!

Have Kovalev Vs. SOB in Moscow, with Russian judges, referee and boxing commission..................then we will see Kovalev knock SOB out......................some would claim that is unfair? Well, SOB had the fight in Vegas, with his referee, judges, boxing commission who do anything Roc Nation tells them to do..................so why not allow the fight to be in Russia?
