Again, he's not taking his training seriously. You can tell he wasnt jogging, his stamina was horrible... he was probably back to drinking vodka. this is already the 2nd feather fisted opponent who has KO'd Kovalev. and the only reason their punches connect, is because Kovalev is exhausted, and too slow to get out of the way, and he could barely hold his hands up. If Sergey is gonna neglect his training, he should retire.
The division is moving on and there are better fighters coming through who are better than Kovalev, just as when Kovalev burst onto the scene beating the best of the previous era/scene. It's the main reason Ward retired straight away.
He got beat, his stamina has always been average, it's a pity as I like Kovalev but Alvarez showed heart, grit and determination and surprising power too. Kovalev is finished though sadly
