Kovalev Beats GGG for P4P listing, everyday

The competition between MW Golovkin and LHW Kovalev for the highest P4P ranking goes to Kovalev, by an American country mile.

Kovalev makes no excuses for his CV by whining how much he is being ducked, although many have ducked Kovalev. He has still achieved more in the ring than GGG.
Between Kov and GGG, Kovalev has not only faced the better competition, but in the future will have much bigger fights than GGG; Ward-Kovalev and than Kovalev Vs Stevenson are both bigger than any possible GGG fight, especially since GGG ducks all the elite opponents such as Ward, Hopkins, and Lara.
If Kovalev were MW, no doubt he would have faced Lara and every other fighter that GGG has ducked.

P4P higher ranking definitely goes to Kovalev over the marketing hype, GGG.

 

You should have thought a little prior to posting.
To measure any quantity accurately one should utilize a scale and that scale should be calibrated with a standard reference.

In boxing, that reference is levels of competition. The higher the level of competition faced and conquered, the higher the position.

KOVALEV is greater than Golovkin, since EVERYONE knows Golovkin has faced no one.

Kovelev: ATGs elites faced: 1
Golovkin: NONE


Ever subjective qualification requires adequate references.
What's Golovkin's reference; Wade and now Brook?

 

That version of Hopkins is a better win than any of Golovkin's opponents.
The fact is, Golovkin ducked the Hopkins fight even before BHOP fought Kovalev.
Anyone who ducks facing an old living ATG does not deserve a mention as P4P. :smoke

 

My "eye test" says that Golovkin is a B level fighter.
He is nowhere near a "highly technical" as casual and immigrant announcers state.

It can be said that Lara, BHOP and Ward see the same thing in Golovkin and why they called him out.
BHOP couldn't get the fight with Golovkin as they ducked, so they went to Kovalev.
Ward couldn't get the fight with Golovkin, so they went to LHW to Kovalev.

Lara will move to 160 and Golovkin will immediately jump up to SMW. :yep

No P4P fighter there.
