It makes too much sense. They are old rivals back from their amateur days. They don't like each other, Kovalev claims that Beterbiev got a gift decision when they last fought. Even though both are past their prime, it would be still a good, exciting fight. They both fight on ESPN, unlike Bivol who fights on DAZN and is promoted by Eddie Hearn which makes that bout unlikely to happen. As for Gvozdyk, he already said that Kovalev is his friend so they won't fight. That leaves Beterbiev as the only possible opponent for an unification fight for Kovalev. I have always said Krusher would beat him and I still think so. Can't wait to see that fight!
Can't see this one going to a decision. I'll take Kovalev by KO, assuming he isn't in prison before the fight.
If Kovalev wasn't robbed in the first Ward fight, which we all know he was, we would've seen these two squaring up with each other in a mouthwatering grudge match with both undefeated records intact.
Beterbiev fight makes sense at Barclay's, lots of Russians in NYC. ESPN should be back in Texas for Ramirez fight.
Beterbiev has a very poor resume , KRUSHER looked better than beterbiev has KRUSHING better fighters. I think beterbiev has stagnated so much, KRUSHER will make him look silly.
